Crackshield works. to test just rename crackshield.dll to dinput8.dll (as was pointed out elsewhere).

Doesn't that disable the use of the mod folder though? Since it's tied in with the "original" dinput8

Yes, was just pointing out to the above poster that the mod was not "broken" because crackshield no longer worked.
