Make sure you extract the archive with 7zip before starting. I tested it and it runs fine on both my desktop and laptop.

The only bugs i see is the range , the GG are not added , the rest is perfect

Awesome. Really awesome. You all managed to eliminate lag even from my crappy laptop.
And AI is tough now, i lost a couple of time in JPA :D

I have some piece of advices for all players, to remove lag even more!

1- Open the game. Go in settings. Disable drones and star effects. Choose "New laser style". New lasers are lighter.
2- In game option, set quality as 1 (worst)
3- Go in the "data" folder
4- Create a new folder in the "data" folder
5- Cut all the following files that from the "data" folder and past them in the new folder:
All files that begin with:
bg - disables map backgrounds
drone name - removes that drone file (If you move this, make sure you disabled drones!)
bigexpl - removes explosions files
GGx files - disable background for that Galaxy Gate
laserDamage - disables that miniexplosions that occur when lasers hit a ship
old(ammo name) - disables that ammo. (If you remove this, make sure you chosen old lasers sprite!)
rocketDamage - disables that miniexplosions that occur when a rocket hits a ship
teleporting.res - disables the visual effect while using gates
-------IF YOU HAVE A DUAL(OR MORE)-CORE CPU:
6- Now, right click on the launcher with resolution 800x600
7- In compatibility mode, choose "Run as Administrator" and run in compatibility with Windows 98
8- Every time that loading finishes, open task manager, right click on the remix process and choose "Set affinity" (In italian is called "Imposta Affinità", I actually don't know how's it called in english). However, you should find a window with something like this:

<All CPUs> [ ]
CPU 0 [v]
CPU 1 [ ]
(If you have more cores, you should find more CPUs).
Just actuvate <All CPUs>
-9 Set then process Priority to "High"
Why did I show you this passages? Because in this way we will force the game to use ALL the CPUs, with some computers, game could use just a single CPU even if you have more. This trick also works with old games, if your PC runs them a bit slow.

TRUST ME, YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE :D


And remember, if you needed this mini-guide, start crying, and seriously consider to buy a new PC. And keep crying, as I am doing right now. Sigh.
