You just uploaded the SFrame.exe which can be found in the Age of Rappelz folder...

Anyways, this won't work because of the following error message:

you can get gameguard to work on older versions of rappelz, by using
the game guard folder and the gameguard.des from the latest rappelz
and in the old rappelz folder. (well worked for me)

btw the files we are using are from the French version of rappelz

eg:guild.fr.rappelz.gpotato.eu in the files

Well, that's the problem. I don't have any rappelz client having the latest files.

Another question: Does anyone have the salt for the passwords?
Suddenly, the client asks me for a real password... I think we had a bad configuration, now it should work for me, IF I had this salt, haha.

However, I began to run out of ideas, to be honest... :/

Open up the SQL management studio thingy and connect by using the local administrator.

Switch to Security -> Logins -> right-click "sa", Properties. Don't forget to uncheck the box where it says "Use password policies" or whatever it was.

SQL EXPRESS 2008 R2

i think that can be on the files
or on my system the error becouse i cannot come to that point that u are ihave try all but i cannot come to youre point i was very pissed on now.. go to bed g8

Yeah I know. The SFrame.exe file encrypts the password you type in, send it to the server, the server decrypts it and checks the login, that's the way it works. And yeah, therefore I need the salt to be able to login.

sabit if u are on Security>Login>sa
then u have to delete ya password in both fields and all things under the password field u have to deactivate.
then if u click on OK it will ask ya if u wanna work with the RISK without PW.
click yes and the PW is empty

Im just making sure its not a client issue, ive manage to find downloads for
US epic 5 part 2, epic 6, and epic 6 part 1, downloading now :P

(just saying this as if you use the epic 7 client on age of rappelz server brings up same error when making char)

update: changing some database settings the client makes a char in database then crashes and
game server does too

this client seems a lot more better with the files we have:

and you will need to put these gameguard files in the rappelz folder:

(to stop gameguard errors)
