When the application is referring to "Moderator Experience" it's more talking about taking action on spam, advertisement, off-topic, necro-threading and so forth. I'm sure experience with all the forum software available is a bonus, but it's more of a personality experience, that's why Fang spoke about other roles that may need the same or similar demeanor.Quote:
Good Morning Fang!
I'd like to start off by saying thank you for your reply, I've never noticed that I haven't stated my experience, but I'll quickly change that now for you. (Actually, I have a lot of experience on all forum software [phpbb3, vBulletin, SMF and etc]). And the section which I mentioned that I have no experience in is the coding section. The advertising section is one of my strongest points, as It's where I get all of my reputation from via helping users, reporting problems in their thread, and so on.
EDIT: "I have no experience with forums who have a member scale the size of what elitepvpers does, but I'm experienced in vBulletin, phpBB3, Simple Machine Forums, and just the layout of the Moderator CP, how everything works and how to use it appropriately."
Kind Regards,
Creationist
For example if I didn't have any moderator skills or experience, I would post about my role as a Teacher at TAFE (after highschool, before university in Australia).
