FFXIV Crafter

Ok, my apologies that I had to disable npc support in this batch. I am focusing on getting other offsets that I didnt get target offset yet. I should have it shortly, it just is bottom of my list since I want to start running my mining bots asap.

anyone else having the bot goto clear rather than the recipes menu?
10/05/2011 05:52 Cooleko#184
is this one the second craft only? They may have changed how crafting switches between menus, let me know and i can change

Specifically, I am asking, if the game automatically selects recipe after completing a craft. if it does, then I can modify the bot to account for that

Mine just goes to far, and it does it the whole time. Goes from recipe to the clear button which is one below it. Ive tries selecting the recipe for it, it then completes the craft, then will goto clear and break afterwards.

cooleko: ok heres the problem, the starting position of the cursor is now the second option from the top (recipes), not the first option from the top(requested items) like it used to be. By default, when you open the crafting menu it goes to the second option now.

Interesting, I cannot reproduce these results, please download and run [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Find FFXIV window, will say something similar to rapture, open message filtering, set in the options to only see keyboard commands. see if the bot is sending more than one key press.

Since the bot uses windows API to send key presses there should not be any possibility for error.

Opps, thanks Steve. My last post missed yours.

Is this change on the first synth too? When I tested the bot I only ran one synth and then prepared it manually, so i missed this change

Also, can someone check with levequests, does the game figure out that your doing leves, or will i have to send an (up) button to get to the requested items?

Adjusted bot to not press down to enter recipe menu and to press up to enter levequest menu.

This version assumes that levequests will also default to recipes. If this is not true then dont do levequests and let me know!

Whatever you did seems to have it working for me. :P

thanx man, im assuming we will need to manually hover on recipes before we start bot, although i always use first craft prepared :P
10/05/2011 06:44 steve782#191
Cooleko, it works perfectly now, thanks a lot!! I haven't tried it on leves yet though.

since the crafting menu opens up on recipes you dont have to manually do anything, just start the bot.

If you prepared your first craft (aka set materials) then you set cursor on w/e hand your gonna be using before start.

Same as it was before :)

picked any1 for the mining bot yet ?

no, since the mining areas are now flooded with agro mobs, I need to find the monster array. I had a pretty good lead before, but I have to figure it out and them figure out what tags a mob that agros, and then have the bot pop stealth when near agro.

So I have an awesome mining bot that will mine for you, but will get you killed every time you run past new agro areas (mobs hit a lot harder now).

I have already found a glitch that allows me to avoid stealth speed reduction :) SE will probably patch it soon though :'(

the NPC array cant be that hard, mmoviper has had a radar hack out since almost day 1.

I just havent made it a focus yet. I was bored about two months ago (before starting on the mining bot) where I found the start of the array, and I think I identified the pointer to the next array (meaning the npc array was a linked list) but I never wrote the program needed to prove that I had indeed found what I was looking for. All that work is lost since the npc structure was altered and the previous offsets are useless. I have pretty detailed notes on what I found in a text document, so I may be able to reproduce what I found before.

There is just not enough time in the day to keep up with three projects, and develop new ones (and have a full time job).

As far as the mining bot goes, I have a good start on completing all of uldah. Grade 1 (16 nodes mapped out). Grade 2 (14 nodes mapped out). Grade 3 (0 Nodes). Grade 4 (100% complete @ 40 nodes). Grade 5, (20 nodes). I have a good start on grade 4/5 leve quests too.

I have also considered an inferior solution to the agro mobs. Just make a separate file that knows which route points intersect agro, and use stealth when you approach them. This is not ideal and leaves too much work for the user.

Most unfortunate :(

However the crafting bot is working fine. Barring one issue is that it doesn't detect the name anymore. For one account it's not so big an issue. But for duobox it does require an extra step of "checking crafting windows" to see which PID is the correct one.
