Thats crazy :D But why Blizzard sue those WoW Private servers? I think its because Blizzard isnt chasing lawsuits to get money :D They get it from the people who play it and dumbly pays 13€ on a month :D Joymax only wants money, found that good way to sue ecsro :P Why doesnt joymax sue like s-bot? Its illegal to bot or use other 3rd party programs... But they wont even get rid of the gold bots... Bots keeps isro crowded 24/7 so people got to buy premium +. Thats only way Joymax gets money... From people who buys silk ^^ But those who used money on ecsro, i think you should charge back if you paid with paypal...

Botting is a violation of Terms of Service. It has nothing to do about the legality of using them.

Stealing someone's work and blatantly making money off it is totally illegal. It has nothing to do with making money for Joymax.

Ocean and Co. Made money off of selling "silk" ( a virtual currency which they don't own) trademarked by Joymax. They used the term "donation" to try and somehow make it legal (which it wasn't) That's what got them busted. All silk sold was/is the property of Joymax

If I made a game, put a trademark on it's name, and got a copyright on it, I would sue everyone involved with ECSRO.

It will be fun to see how many names are added to this lawsuit!

And the Member of the Server? Whats with them?

and this is the reason why swsro certainly won't get online the next days.. they will not risk themselves to get in the same situation as ecsro.
and don't come with "they didn't have an official seller site".. all those silk-resellers did spam their "products" everywhere ^^

tbh i hope all p-servers get sued. even mysro and sjsro.
not that i don't like them.. more the fucking mentality of those motherfuckers.. violating the meaning of "PRIVATE SERVER" ^^
those server are UNOFFICIAL servers, but NO way private ;)

pulling money outta the pockets of people, by hosting WORK that wasn't created by them deserves that!!

and all those whiners who spent too much money on silk and want to answer "but the server has to be paid somehow", you all could lick my bollox ;)
i hosted some servers as well.. and guess what... i received donations.. totally volunteer donations... those paid the servers.. and such server ONLY costs about 100 bucks a month. not more.
so..

just think about it..
YOU want to host a server which EVERYBODY LOVES!!
and imagine SILKS would be FREE!!!!
IF you would write an announcement, that you need money to pay the server, I'm 100% sure that someone would DONATE money!

to the ones who feel offended by my words (mentality was the word), I'm sorry to say, that the greedy mofos did not release the files. they got them somehow, and they used them to get a lot of money.
