As long as you are reporting posts and helping people with your current knowledge, you're good. It's not like you're the only person in that section, you dont have to know everything ;) After reading your application, I think you're a very energic person and I believe you'd do very good in that section as a moderator. Seeing your guardian status makes me strongly believe you're good enough to moderate SRO section.
You have the green light from me ;)

I already gave you my yes, a few months before, but I think, now you're really ready to get the rank.
You worked so much for this, that you got the guardian badge now and you're still active.

Good Luck.

Good afternoon Requi,

Indeed, it has been a long journey. Most candidates think after 2-3 months "ah, not worth it, close thread" but, it seems to motivate me more, knowing that I'm not easily giving up on something which I've worked hard to get.

Good Afternoon Max,

Thank you for your opinion. I agree, I should get more active in other sections (coding) but It's something I have no experience in, so all I'd be doing is posting things like "#reported" or copying what everyone else is saying (answering questions) so I chose not to participate there. Kind Regards,

Creationist.

Yeah! That's the spirit, bud. Never give up, work hard and you will surely get your results!

It doesn't matter his join date or posts, Well, as for moderator he needs to be 3 months registered, 300 posts, but yet, I won't just see his join date and post and make judgement on him, that will be a wrong way to do it so. It depends on how active he is, how respect he gives to members or anyone and yes, the behaviour.

-------------------------------------------------------

Good luck, buddy. I hope you will always never give up.

Good afternoon MidZero,

Surely I won't give up. I've been an applicant too long to give up! Maybe if it was 2 months, I would. But, I've come so far since I applied (when I applied, I had 800 posts, no TBM, no blog/articles, no respect/reputation) now that's definitely changed. I'm obviously waiting for the day that I get accepted, but so far, It's been a good journey :)

After reading your application, I noticed a few weaknesses. First, I noticed that your experience with moderating isn't very convincing. You've clearly stated that you have no experience at all. It doesn't have to be necessarily moderating experience, it can be any work experience with people. Do you have any volunteer work involving groups of people? Have you held any leadership positions? You said you had experience in your father's office - try to make that more of a positive experience than just dealing with ignorant customers. I also noticed your experience in the section. Yes, you have experience with the flow of the section - the rules, the members, the content; however, you have a very large flaw: private servers (as you've stated). Private servers are a big part of your section, and you would be expected to moderate it along with the other subsections. If you feel confident that you can do that, I would definitely mention your confidence and explain why you would be alright in the section (instead of just noting your weaknesses). Anticipate the arguments and concerns that the staff might present and you might just land yourself the moderating position - you should work a bit on that application. Good luck.

Edit: I review applications for students. I might be slightly overdoing it with the suggestions, but hopefully this gives you the opportunity to review your application and potentially increase your chances of becoming a member of our staff. Again, good luck.

Good Morning Fang!

I'd like to start off by saying thank you for your reply, I've never noticed that I haven't stated my experience, but I'll quickly change that now for you. (Actually, I have a lot of experience on all forum software [phpbb3, vBulletin, SMF and etc]). And the section which I mentioned that I have no experience in is the coding section. The advertising section is one of my strongest points, as It's where I get all of my reputation from via helping users, reporting problems in their thread, and so on.

EDIT: "I have no experience with forums who have a member scale the size of what elitepvpers does, but I'm experienced in vBulletin, phpBB3, Simple Machine Forums, and just the layout of the Moderator CP, how everything works and how to use it appropriately."

Kind Regards,

Creationist
