[5206] SirHooks v0.01 (eventually will also contain all the features of melee.dll)

Cos im a noob, i need some1 to explain how to work this bot frm downloadin the app... pls could some1 help me T_T ... could u send it to my inbox cos i cant find my post on here :(

1. It would be cool if you can add "Item Saver". So if you pick up some metz, gems, dbz.. (what ever you choose) and you got VIP - Renote Warehouse to put it in there automaticly.

2. Make waypoints to jump and kill. I was Met-Hunting with my Archer in MetZone ... but he jumped too like all possible Spawn's just not to the RealDove Spawns :P.

3. Automatic Item Repair on VIP after like 30 min or like 50pct of Dura.

4. Speed on EXP Skill like SM would be useful, but I read somewhere TQ is checking Client Speed with Normal Speed? : o -.-^

5. I can't keep SM in Grotto 1/2 (I 1 Hit the Monsters all time). I used that "[5180-5186+] Return of Melee.dll" before and it jumped closer to the monsters with just 1 jump (now i need many time 2 jumps till it attack) , with that other bot it was much faster :X not sure if that's fixable. :P

New idea, is it possible to make it so that if u drop an item, it comes on an ignore list so that the bot wont pick it up even tho you dont want it?

like when u have loot all on, and it picks up everything, ofcourse u want to drop the useless stuff, but when u do, the bot picks it up right away again even tho u just dropped it.

this will be a new step towards an auto drop script :)

Mafiagang, you aren't understanding him. I know what he means about during the exp skill. Usually towards the end of using Fatalstrike, if you are in mid air while it ends or heads toward a monster, you tend to D/C. Also sometimes it happens to my guy as well. He will jump back and forth as if he's trying to figure out where to jump to next, to attack more mobs. So as a result he disconnects. lol

- Oh and to Nightwolfe, I don't know about this, but for me having only one client running tends to fix this problem.

thanks for all the great ideas :) love it when people post helpful things that we can actually use. not too sure about the double jumping thing in grotto tho. could possibly be more ppl are there and thus the mobs are slightly more spread out? (coz some have been killed).

if u want speed on xp, use one of the specially modified speed clients, but doubt any such patch will be in a public release of sir hooks, sorry! :/

automatic repair for vip's is planned, altho lol gunna have to be summit clint does, as i aint got vip, and hes got a lot on atm, however we are considering (altho definitely no where near the top of our prioty list) a path find to town, repair, then path find back to where u were option. however this obviously will only work in the major maps, and cant work in places like grotto or mystic (ie the main botting places :/)

definitely like the remote wh for dbs/mets etc idea tho, altho again clint will need to do that, and hes a bit busy with work atm, but dont worry thats definitely getting on the todo list :)

as for the real dove thing, dont think its gunna happen, we are quite happy with mob density, lol best way to get mets is birds :)

ok thats summit i should look into. presumably it will pick up literally everything except gold/scrolls/pots dependant on ur settings. not really sure how to address this, except maybe dropping bullions etc from the loot list and making a loot gold that loots all gold. however i do like the idea of looting bullions but not normal gold, as its enough for repairs, but not so much that it slows down the lvling

lol ive just gotten this far down and ive realised its not quoted ur other msg that i was trying to quote, but lol basically in reply to both, thank you, thank you, thank you! another player who actually responded with something constructive to the beta :)

i do like the idea of a learnable drop list, altho this may be akward as to all the different paras of an item, ie socs/soc contents/plus/quality/dmg minus/blessed hp/item type lol so u can imagine the problem. never fear tho i do intend to try and solve the item dropping thing tonite, altho do need to spend some time with the misses tonite, so no promises!

anyway, ill catch u guys in a bit! :P

edit: @Maffiagang, soz just re-read ur post (lol soz i forgot but lots to read :P) and the ks option, i think the checkbox is misleading, if u check the checkbox it WILL killsteal, and uncheck it and it wont, try checking then unchecking if it isnt workin. also let me know if the range for non ks is sufficient

I can't thank you enough for your efforts in SirHooks and the support you've given along with it (love the short, yet effective videos :)).

Being a programmer myself, I would have to say that I love the layout of your controls and the overall usability of the program. You've done an excellent job encapsulating low-level functionality and streaming it through to the user interface. I can't say too much because I just got back on CO after a year or so and I've only messed around with your beta version, but I have looked at your changelog so, I know you've come a long way! Keep up the good work!

I would also like to say Great Job on choosing C# and .NET as your language/platform! I started with C# a few years ago and since then I would cry if I had to go back to straight C.

A little about me...
I've worked with a few projects like a .dat decrypter/encrypter, multi-client makers, conquer.exe editors, etc. A lot of these projects came from C/C++ source that was publicly available and I ported to C# code for my own personal uses (thats why you don't see any projects made by me ;)). I simply Do Not have the time to provide support, updates, and requested features that I myself wouldn't use all the time. I've also worked with a lot of assembly and specifically disassembling apps, so I know what it takes to make something like this. It is definitely NOT a weekend project, lol.

Anyways, I currently work for a company in software development and if it's one thing that gives me motivation, it is seeing positive feedback from end-users. I just want to let you guys (read: those involved in SirHooks) know that you've done a fantastic job.

If you guys ever need a hand with anything just send me a PM!

Im sure clint and war will love your response about the bot :) and ur right, it is an awesome and userfriendly bot... not at all like Jproxy which was a bitch to configure for the different kinds of classes in co, and this bot does that with only ONE click :)

Ok, so u guys inspired me to TRY and learn C#. Not saying i have enough patience for it :D but if i do, i wanna be sure that this is enough to make a bot similair to this one.

personally ive not checked out any of the tuts, but infamousnoone definately knows what hes talking about :P and lol dont try and jump in at the deep end and start on summit to hard, work on summit simple like a hello world. lol ive never used c# until this, but have had a number of years experience programming in different languages.

ill give u an example of something to do, which will test u, but at the same time be easy to learn. try making a 'bank' program. ie u can have different accounts that can transfer money between them and different account ids and login's. nothing too complicated but at the same time, will get u going on the key principles needed. as I say tho, dont try and over complicate it. something that runs from the command line is far better than a full blown gui attempt that just doesnt work

wow, yeah thats a real good idea, i have had some experience with visual basic / c++ at school since i did IT, but back then i thought i was never gonna use that / was too hard to learn. but now i found something to use it for, and i really wanna learn it, lol so im gonna try and make that "bank" program.

thanks for the idea :) going to bed now lol, almost 2 am here XD so imma follow the tuts tomorrow, and then take a crack at the "bank" program:)

lol need to go to bed here too really :P and nite mate, let me know if u get stuck with the bank thing and ill see if i can help. also maybe try python as a stepping stone to get used to the concepts. its a much easier language to learn, altho admitedly c# is much better :)

I've done all that. It still closes CO. Trust me I know what I'm talkin' about. :)
