I've not had a problem using it other then the fact it will start to desync you over time from the server but you can just drop a skill and it will kick your location.

I have Win8 and first it didn't work for me. I tried after several months again and it was working perfectly :D then the next day it didn't work and now i'm here lonely, sad and not flying :'(

I know what you mean, dude. This has been something that has been bothering the shit out of me since launch. I'm really sad ANet hasn't done anything on the vertical camera slider front, so I'm willing to turn to hax to finally let me play the game without angling the camera down at the ground all the time.
