When you debate something it's very important to remain civil. Once you resort to rude/hurtful comments, you lose all credibility to your opinion. Instead of providing solid facts and evidence, you resorted to name calling, insults, profanity, and my personal favorite, sexual solicitation, in an attempt to demean and demoralize the opposing argument. It's a cowards tactic that has no place in civilized discussion.
Either way, it seems that you actually hit the nail right on the head with one of your last comments. You're right, I don't like profanity when used in a debate. You're also right that profanity is a part of life, something that can't be escaped from. But you know what else is also a part of life? Being stabbed in the back and being lied to.
I've come to terms with my problem with profanity and I'm a better person for it.
