That is why my instruction is "extract to the addons folder"

The saved variables uses old files.
If they get restored after being deleted. Then delete them and do not have the updater running and run the game and install the guides.

Or they would just be restored.

yea i just confused coz before i used the old one which is just extract on Guides folder which inside RXPGuides:lul:

Im extracting the file that u mention to addOns folder directly, when I open the game it says that needs a dependency, do i need to have the original RestedExp installed? And just extract your file into AddOns as before?

Yes you need the addon. It cannot work without it. I am surprised people would think that guides just work in their own.

It does not show because it has not been added

Meh cant fix RXP, didnt have any issues with it earlier.

I download the addon seperately.
I am playing on anniversary realm, so i put the RXP Leveling Era folder in the addon folder itself but still doesnt work.

Also tried taking the ERA folder iwthin the RXP Leveling Era folder and put that in both the addon folder and the RXP guides folder with no luck.

Do you know if there are any compatibility issues with Mac? I tried also with retail but same issue - only the stock free guides.

Edit edit: Nevermind, just gonna go with Zygor - went there and picked up the guideviewer and then just replaced all the files


Edit: Also where do you get the stock Zygor addon? The .zip has a main folder called Release 1 etc

How do you get zygor when you already mentioned the link that is is in.

I do not know mac.

But I do know updaters keep on restoring the savedvaribles after you have deleted it.

That is why I tell people.

Delete the addon and saved variables
Run the game
Install the addon and guides
/reload

That way, it has to make files based on what you just added.
