Actual serverfiles fixes and problems

Here is a resume from all the issues i've found with these files:

1. The most important issue is that [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] need to be fixed, it makes the server disconnect all connected users. (every pserver has failed because of this problem)

2. The repack rev 40 crashes because of itemoptiontable.txt server file.

3. CM Episode 3 client is unable to connect, you need to copy alefclient.exe from the celestia client in order to connect and then everything is broken ingame because of INI client folder.

4. WORLD folder from server files is missing, this is the cause of the movement stuck. (i fixed it by copying world folder from celestia client to server files directory)

5. Wings/Cloaks don't work with Celestia or any other client at the moment. (itemoptiontable.ini related? client related?)

Maybe if these things get fixed then we can think about making a private server, until then i'm sorry but these files are useless same as the old server files.

Hello again, after reading the entire post i've noticed that you need to use osiy alefclient.exe and autkbhook.dll to make the CM EP 3 client work :)

So the wings and cloaks work with the repack 40 and also PVP areas, and there are no NPC.
(using old itemoptiontable.txt to avoid server crash atm)

The main thing is the problem with the "/p %n" command, do the server console need to be rewrited in order to solve this? are there any chances to fix this problem?

P.D. you can "Fix" the Repack v40 crash by using itempotiontable.txt from CM EP 3 for server files

Click Here To Register...] thx for fixes..i didnt got any time to work on it..the npc are..the problem its the alefclient.exe ...alefclient.exe episode 3 ...need to find the corect npc packets using ida pro and change them (like servergames import them,or using celestia alefclient.exe you can see the corect packets and try to change them in episode 3 alefclient.exe)As i didnt got any time to work with archlord,i have to say the github brokes little the code (the file that you reuploaded,used to fix the server crash).

If i can take some time to fix mobs,npc spawns will be great..what you have to do right now are just reverse enginering from gameserver to alefclient.exe(its all about packets)

Click Here To Register...] Thanks for the answer, if you could get some time to fix mobs and npc it would be awesome but i think the "/p %n" issue is more important to fix, i did installed IDA pro and tested it for a while with gameserver files but i do lack the knowledge to reverse engineering them, are there any kind of tutorials for this?

Also i wanted to mention that i'm not sure if editing the ep3 client to be compatible with ep2 server files will be worse than adapt the server files to Episode 3 client (i mean not editing alefclient, but making server consoles listen for the packets from EP3 client instead)

Thanks for the answer! i tried to edit the consoles with a Hex editor but i can't find the string /p %n or hex 2f 70 20 25 6e

i searched on both celestia and Repack v40 consoles with no luck, also they are different and i was able to find "%n" only on the repack consoles (it appears one time at loginserver and three times at gameserver, but i dont know if they are from other string or else)

So i didnt had luck on fixing this issue yet, on the other hand did you tried HDD regenerator for your burned drive? i used it before and even with the free version you can restore the files: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

UPDATE:Some coders has been found and we are going to update the actual episode 3 client with fixes(posible fix for spawning monsters,npc,delting items and much more,hope chat shout system to,and some more GMS to be implanted-maximum 2 gms to use the commands and so much posible the users to use if not succed to fix shout system /all command just for selling things or guild looking)
