"How to" Aion - FAQs + Guides + links

Agony,could you point me where i did wrong? I mean making AION english.

I downloaded both:
-ENU.pak
-versionInfo_AION.ini

Then i downloaded manual patch from Novos guide.

I applied patch, deleted CHS folder + .pak file and i put there ENU.pak file.

I put versionInfo_AION.ini into main game directory ( where executable is - C:\Program Files\NCSoft\AION )

Then i changed at Control Panel ->Regional Options ->Standarts and Formats ->English(US) *it was first TAB and first field at Standarts and Formats window*

When i run AION via shortcut it downloads CHS.pak.5.zip and then converts it to CHS.pak at LN10 folder.

And still i have chinese chars at Launcher, and whenever i start AION it downloads CHS.pak.5.zip and adds it to LN10 folder...

I dont know what i did wrong...maybe i shouldn't rename those !@$!@% signs at game directory?

Edit.: Yes i tried manual patching then automatic one. Still Chinese not english :(

Edit2.: I dont know if its important, but i used games.on link you have posted to download AION and after the instalation i didn't have that versionInfo_AION.ini file at all inside my AION game folders.

Edit3.: Maybe i should try ENU.pak + file from [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]? Will it fit ? or that thread was only to CB ?

Patcher will always be in chinese.

Check your log in screen..

Ok, so new problem appeared. What can i do if everytime i try to launch the Game, i pass the GameGuard Checkings i see splash of AION and then i get message:

"AION has encountered a problem and needs to be closed blah blah blah Microsoft is stupid"

I already reinstalled game...didnt help

my friend cant install the game pls help he wanna try before beta ends

And seems like your files are incomplete. There it even says. OMG. JUST REDOWNLOAD. lol. And pay cash.

Edi.: Great, now if i dont have GG Error 114, then i get no errors ( no gg error, no error that tell this application needs to be closed ) but game doestn launch. Just blank, nothing.

Btw. can anyone translate this pop-up?

ok beta ended i saw :D

I don't know..maybe check your firewall settings..Gameguard is a jerk.

It was firewall fault.

But still, i have problem with that " This application has encountered a problem and needs to be closed"

What shouldi do with that...

Ok, listen, i did all stuffs (with getting that eng patch) and, when i launch the game, it gives me an error with unknown letters, something like this : [][][][][][][][], have any ideea what else I could do? Thanks in advice.

Well i didnt use search but i did look at all pages on this thread,so dont bite my head off plix XD

Ok so i know that going to the wpay page i can check my charge history,but is there a way i can actually check the seconds/minutes/hours/W/E left on my account.I tries the /Time command ingame but it doesn't work and the /playtime just give the amount of time spent ingame that session.And the wpay site just gives me info about the type of sale/purchase made.
