AION CHINESE OB CLIENT + REGISTRATION

I'm very confused.

I try this:
1, install this client (CBT)
2, update it
3, place your ENU to L10N
4, start

BUT my screen ISN'T english !!!

My screen (user agreement by Zeal2k9) is ... I don't know which language would be that, but not english.

Could someone help me, please?

This is a picture I just snapped of the Chinese client using the English patch, proving that it DOES work. Now I can see why the original thread starter does not want to help you idiots. You cannot follow simple directions.

The patch DOES work.

facts:

-client fully patched and the version date is 19 nov too. as supposed to be.
-i placed correctly enu.pak at where u mentioned.
-im tech savvy, in fact im a software developer.
-others have tried and reported its not working.

Real Facts:

-Client patched with English patch
-Placed the enu.pak exactly inside the L10N Folder.
-Im advanced tech savvy, but is not needed to make the patch work. (Its so easy a cave man can do it). lol
-Others have tried and failed but there's just a few that got it working...seems to me some people just cant follow simple instructions

1.Download Patch.
2.Locate folder to put patch :
C:\Program Files\Ê¢´óÍøÂç\ÓÀºãÖ®Ëþ\AION\L10N
3. Your done!! OMG SO DIFFICULT!!
4. My proof of the patch working.



After patch is done that's it just wait until the 15th or 25 for OBT. I'm going for 25th cause of the Chinese new year so
BE PATIENT don't ask questions that make people mad or frustrated with you cause they are tired of the "dumb" questions
just cause some don't want to read what exactly is going on.

if its not working for a lot of persons, its not because nobody know how to paste a file but because its simply not working... and there is for sure some reason so stop saying that everybody is stupid...

Some people say its working with the rapidshare link, maybe the download from the other link () is not the same. I downloaded from games.on.net and I have the same problem that a lot of other persons : everything is working, just the game stay in the chinese version with the enu.pak file. Maybe it's an OS problem or something else or we need to do another trick but for sure it's not working for a lot of person as described.

my first question to you is did you download the english patch from the link posted from rapidshare? if you havent why havent you?
2nd is are you running vista or xp? work fine the first try patching give it a try if you havent.

SP3....hmmm well Im running Windows XP Pro SP2 but i dont think that makes a difference unless it does. I never updated to SP3 cause I dont see the point of it right now cause its nothing serious or mandatory need. I dont see any other solution of it not working for you. Did you delete the ENU.pak file you already had from the other place first? dont replace it just remove the other if you had another then put the one from rapidshare

well that's true.
When you install the game, there is already a enu.pak file.
up to now, i tried 2 things:
-to start the game first, the enu.pak after that disappear with an "auto-patch" from the game itself and I copy the enu.pak from rapidshare : it doesn't work
-to replace the enu.pak before the 1. start of the game, start after that the game, but same result: it doesn't work too.

-> I didn't try your solution to delete the enu.pak and not to replace it ... I will try this evening...
