4story private servers , and real oldshool

So before we start i want to say sorry if english lvl isnt fine for you ^^so sorry for all mistakes , but lets begin to topic.

As some people know im one of developers from v4story team . The server was maked becouse i wanted to play again the old good game.

Its not about what server you like /play if you want comment about it go to another post , there we talk about oldschool

So we analyze , what was most important things from oldschool?
and then we started work
-hard exp
-Hard upgrade , and less upgrades so people should have eq 11-18
-no gor


About features , in my opinion its good idea to add them even to oldschool if its not chaning game like for example new moovment on newschool


so we make that sv and have done all of that points
Then start server ,


Exp wasnt that hard , in 5 days was max lvl
Items was low
it was ofcourse on patch3.4

hOw many people was playing ? 30-50 at first 2-4 weeks
was really cool , on castle peopel had11 items and so on real oldschool.

Then we make much more easy upgrades drop , and upgrade rate , so people make 18-20-22 without problems
And what happend? in 1 week was more then 100 online , interesting right?



Many people ask where they can borrow eq for 7 days for exp +15 xDD where is that npc! XDDDDDDDDDD they cant play without it
New games are making from players idiots ,look for mafia 3, you have in fucking 5 places write where to go what to do and so on, to you dont fucking forget what to do .




This is not first time when we are playing 4story . People dont want experience this game from 0... liek we did before! Remind your first time with game! my first time was like Exploring , being happy for new quests , places ! that was something!





SO going to summary ,

In my opinion real oldschool will never come , becouse we allready played this game once , also new people want everything easy... for them without eq24 its too hard ^^
IM missing real oldschool i would play it for sure ! but how many people like me are here? guys think about it at your own , would you play and exp 1 moutnh for 80 lvl? i would , but im sure 99% of you would get instatnly bored
just ask yourself about it and write in comments what you think about it would ya play it? im sure not more then 10 people would do it :C and im very sad actually about it .

I feel about oldschool servers, that they are good as a demo product, it had some "wow" factor when it was firstly introduced, but as time went on, it's not fun anymore. The biggest problem is, that there is no oldschool server with a good developer(s), most of the oldschool servers out there make patch once in 4 months, which includes 2 "big" features from the new school, and the worst thing is, that people are actually tolerating it, and even defending the owners. You may say, it's oldschool server, there shouldn't be many updates, but if you say that, you may have mental problems. Game cannot stay on one state forever, it always have to go in some direction. Another sad thing is, that some oldschool servers even manage to make bugs in their features, which leds to item duplication, or other very important stuff, and then the owner with an fake accounts just says, that it is just rumour, lol.

I just said my opinion, if you have something against it, then say it, lol. Also, same as your old server, and basically every other oldschool server right now, you didn't really care about community, let's be honest, you just cared about money, and you didn't even pay your developers, which were stupid enough to work with you afterall. Same as every oldschool server right now, you totally don't care about the community, you just get your GMs to take care of everything, but trust me, it will end like 4StoryUR, and your old server, GMs won't tolerate this forever, they are not that stupid, am I right, DatRanier?

I don't like to brag with my IQ, but it's more than 130, so I think kinda ok, at least I can write while not having every second word wrongly spelled. And I still don't know what you don't understand about that I just said points, so if you are stupid enough, I will list them

1) Make the server go in some direction
-> Frequent updates
2) Care about community, GMs
-> Listen to their feedback
3) Don't care just about money
