Mayn did offer a service for aeria players, they didnt have to.
But...you needed to show proof you had a G1+ at aeria, and as aeria's servers closed you cant give proof anymore. So thats the end of that offer.
Clear and simple. A shame for ppl who knew too late, but you can blame aeria for that, they deleted any links regarding this promo on their forums at the time.
