But a Machinima is just simple a Movie produced with the help of a Gameengine.
And i thinks thats what i made

I jsut dont use the tool which i can made custom charackters like the one you post

You probably should work on your camera movements.

You should also try to bring up some more video-editing ... like effects or something like that...
