1) In the battleground find a safe spot.
2) Hit alt-f4 which will crash your game.
3) After 5 minutes log back in. (Note: Some say you need to wait longer)

Have a buddy invite you to a group 2. have them place you in a sep group ( ex hes in in group 1 you are in group 2) then have him queue you in as a group.
For some reason it wont say you have a deserter in the group beucse techincally hes not in your group just in the raid.
This works after 1.10 ive tested it 3 times
