In game lag

When um in game it lags often to the point where I have to wait few seconds for it to stop lagging, the game isn't as fun with this lag happening often. Anyway I can resolve this?

Try to close useless programms, while playing.(like Antivirus,skype etc.)

Update the driver from you grafic driver,
update your system, close useless programs & disable system sound.
