We all know that one of the most loved features of the PlayStation Network (PSN) is the PlayStation Plus (PS+).
A PS+ yearly subscription costs $49.99 (USD), while a 3-month subscription is $17.99 (USD). By being part of the PS+ community, gamers are entitled with automatic updates for their console, which are totally automated, as users will set up the time, and the console will turn on, update, and turn off automatically.
As well, there is a 1GB cloud storage for saved games, and the best part of this are the monthly offers, which include really good discounts on games, as well as free games!
This month (June) PSN is being quite awesome to gamers, offering some pretty awesome games for free:
- Saints Row: The Third
- Deux Ex: Human Revolution
- Machinarium
- Orc Attack
- Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward
These games are normally worth quite some money, for instance, Saints Row normally costs $39.99, just as an example.
Unfortunately, Sony is taking out some of the current games which are part of the Instant Game Collection; this time the ones which are being removed are:
- Sleeping Dogs
- Infamous 2
- Ratchet and Clank
- Closure
- BlazBlue:Continuum Shift Extended
- Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny
They'll be removed in 4 shifts; the first one on June 4, the second one on June 11, the third one in June 18, and the last one on June 25.
