Question about Silkroad Euro

Alright, sorry if this was already answered, because i searched and couldnt find anythign about it. But, i was talking to my friend in game and he said that silkroad euro would be a whole separate client. Meaning new servers which meant that my characters on the current silkroad version wouldnt be usable on europe version. =[

is this true? or will europe be an extension added to current servers
I.e rome? or sparta?

im really confused about it. could someone please shed some light

ur friend is noob it is 1 cilent so u open it to enter SRO then u choose ur race (chinesse or european) then choose ur charcter u need to play by it
we will play european race in the same servers and u can use the same storge
