Look... I'm not actually PLAYING sro. I log on, set bot in, invite noobs to taxi, and hide sro as much as possible, don't even want to see it :P So game booster is kinda perfect for me.

Yeah true, if I open a client after it has been hidden for an hour, it mostly takes 10-15 min to make it alive again. But I don't care.. I just want to see my pc frozen all the time. With 1 sro open I reach 90% ram immediately. I can run another one without game booster, it'll goo 100%. So I run game booster now, it makes ram go lower (like 70%), so I can start another sro.

If both 3 clients are safe and peaceful, I could launch the 4th client, but in time they will all crash. By they way these ram reducing programs are like....drugs. I mean, when I wasn't using game booster it was too easy and fast to run 2 clients. Now, that I use it for 4-5 months, I can't even launch the 2nd client without game booster (or I can, but it freezes my pc like hell) So yeah, rather buy more ram, but what if I use game booster still again?

1 gb ram (no game booster) = max 2 clients
1 gb ram (with game booster) = max 4 clients
2 gb ram (no game booster) = max 4 clients
2 gb ram (with game booster) = max 8 clients

So here we go, even if I had +1gb ram I would still use ram reducing programs

Depends how many he has already cuz if he has the max capacity of ram allowed by his motherboard he can't expand it.

Yeah the best one out so far is Game Booster, but dont download the wrong one, people try putting virus's in some of them, make sure that 1 of them is scanning before downloading.

U mean RAM memory integrated into motherboard? I never ever saw this kind of motherboards. If even they exist i guess they are used in netbook's which purpose isn't playing only word/excel or IE.

If his slots are taken he can still exchange them and put 2x2GB in it .. and that should be enough for playing Sro

Not entirely true, every motherboard allows just a certain amount of RAM, doing it yourself when you got no clue what you're doing isnt really the best thing to do. Better pay a proffesional to check what you can and cant do with the laptop, it aint cheap but at least its done correctly.

Use a memory scanner, like the one at crucial. It will most likely tell you what mobo it has, what type of ram it has, and the best type of ram you can install for it. Also, it will have small clips on how to install them yourself.
Don't pay anyone to do this.

Thing is that you know what you gotta do and how, but if he doesnt know, he is most likely gonna destroy something.

Or use Everest to check motherboard's name and then go to their support site and check how many ram is it allowed. And exchanging it is usually very easy cuz they wont fit in any other slots

roflmao,

Just check if u got 32 or 64 bits os

32 bites allows onlty 2,9gb ram and 64 bits is 2,9 and far more over.

Its not hard at all to switch a ram memory in a laptop ive done it a lots of times, by opening a slot under the laptop and there u can just take it out and switch it to a better one. Theres also a socket for another ram memory under the keyboard. Its really hard to switch that one if u don't know what you're doing.

Hey guys...I don't know if anything like this have happened to you too but the source is eating up RAM slowly...I was wondering if all of this happens because of the timers (that repeat every .1 second) if so ... I have a lot of "if's" in them checking the servertime...would it reduce the ram usage by using a switch (Servertime.hr/day/blahblah) and make with cases? if this is not the problem of the ram usage can anybody tell me what causes this ram usage? EDIT: i'm talking about tanel's...
minimize cpu usage

any tips on how to minimize cpu usage when running 6clients on 1 pc? currently bots or hacks like smurf-it are not working unless you unfreeze all the clients.. but in doing so, it will take too much cpu or video resource so it will slow down your game. im using win7 64bit 4gb DDR2 ram 1GB Nvidia geforce9500gt. :D
