Is there a way to change the sro_client to read png instead of dat

There sure is.


You can use my GFXFileManager-Source to create a wrapper for the launcher dat-files. Simply make a switch that translates .dat to .png and convert the png into bitmap when opening.

i don't have a visual studio can you give it me exe i know i'm asking to much

So, in other words, you asked the wrong question in the first place?

The question should have been: "Can someone fix my sro_client to read png instead of dat?"

I MEAN can i have your GFXFileManager guide

It's a Dll. And it does not help you at all because you have to write your own code for mapping dat-files to png-files. You'll need Visual Studio anyways.

I wont say i'm a good at this but a simple guide would help i'm a photo shop designer i make a really good launcher's so if i manged to made sro_client read png i would make new thing's and i think i can pay you back the favor
