lag on sro

hi Epvpers
i'm asking for a solution of lag on SRO and i'm useing normal windows XP proffesional .
the problem is that my friend has same windows ( but with other copy ) and has less efficiency than me of Speed ( processor ) or Memory ( Ram ) but with noooooo lag ( i mean stop sro for while and back after a few moments and i have 512k /s speed of internet .
so i'm wounder is there any solution for that LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG on SRO ?

umm maby you have some other programs running witch takes a lot of ur memory ><
just look it from task manager (ctr-alt-delete)
if you find something then see if you can stop that prog ..
dunno it might help =]

in run comand type
msconfig

check for the program in start up and remove unneeded programs , and it will stay on ur system , u will just remove them from starting with windows!

for better computer performance if u dont care that much about visual do this:

Right click on my computer icon and choose properties
in system properties choose advanced
in performance choose settings
in visual effect mark on ( adjust for best performance )
apply then ok

u can also use a spicial programs for maintaine ur pc as well , get tune up utilites 2008

but this is didnt helped me on my conection or laaaaag at sro only me i see that fu,cking laaaaag

i suggest you to upgrade your pc and get a better high speed connection than 512k/s
and you'll notice a great difference in the game.
