Here you will learn how to make Silkroad to work with Your Freedom, which is very easy. If you're behind a proxy server, a restrictive firewall or simply want to play through a proxy this will help you.

After installing Silkroad we will need proxycap to tunnel the executables. Available for download from


Now, you will open proxycap to establish the proxy you'll be using to tunnel the applications. Click the "New proxy Server" button on the top right corner.
We'll be using "localhost" as a host and the port "1080":



After that we need to select the executable that will be using that rule.
Select Rules and click on the same top right corner button.
At "Application" select the "Specify" option, then search for the folder where you installed Silkroad and select "Silkroad.exe". Next, you also need to check the "UDP" option.



The last step is to do the same for the "sro_client.exe" executable:



After all this you should be able to play Silkroad Online with Your Freedom without any problems.
An alternative to Your Freedom is pingfu iris. The free packages they offer are with very low bandwidth so you will have lag. I suggest you buy a paid package.

But the your freedom free services dc's every 1 hour, you have only 50kb/s bandwidth and u can use it only 4-5h a day....i dont remember exactly...
i used it for Dungeon Fighters online...it's terrible if u dont pay for it...

and uuhm aren't they out of servers at some point xD if everyone uses this and they have like 100 different ip's you have 200 characters xD
