i cant run the client v1.300

all goes well till the update comes for version 1.300 and then i cant run the client ...i click the start button on the client loads the hack shield and then dissapears the only thing you see is the client it self there stuck ... and the game wont run ... this is the first time is happening to me and i dont know really what to do with it ... i unistall and reinstall i re-download over and over nothing ... any help ? other wise i will quit the game and thats it ... !

how do i do that ... you mean if i am on a quest user to log in as an admin ... if that what you mean i dont have any other account on my pc is just me !

a guy with the same problem with me he has done that '' I made it work just now.

Uninstall SRO, clear registry of hackshield and SRO settings...and reinstall the game '' BUT i dont know what he means with that clear the registry of hackshield and sro settings ! ! !

go windows desktop -> start -> execute -> type "regedit" (without"") -> press "enter"
-> search for "Silkroad" entries -> delete them -> search for "hackshield" entries -> delete them -> reinstall ****** />
pictures to make it easier:

1. Search: "silkroad"

2. Search: "hackshield"

i found on the regisrty by the find option from the tab bar folder named joymax shall i delete the whole folder then unistall sro and install again ?

joymax, silkroad, hackshield delete all entries.
They will be made new by reinstall !

is 2 20 am here atm ... i have delete some files like silkroad and hshield i have found ... i install it now i hope it works .... btw it installs v1.298 and then it's updating automaticly to v1.300 idont have to do the manual patch i dont know if it's normal like this i think it is ... !

Yeah it is. U get almost latest possible dl from joymax homepage and this will update ...

Got: Asus M4A77TD-Pro U3S6 and have highered my ram to 8gb this prrofile isnt rly up to date :P got new graphics also and a ssd 60 gb sys hd

i done it but it didnt help same thing it loads the hack shield then dissapears and all i see is the client stuck in front of screen doing nothing !

umph u better go sleep today =P dunno what it could be ... incompatible drivers ... windows updates to do, mb antivir, mb annother prog which doesnt bear wtih hackshield.
Could be too much, but if uve nothing to do try all these hints out :P at least u should right click "silkroad launcher" and run it "as admin" ....

ok good night ... i got close my firewall and i dont think is windows updates . . . well i am not sure bout it but i dont think so ... this happens just right after the update to 1.300 and definatly are not my drivers ... but then again thx for help !
