Tutorial
1. Do not uninstall Special Force
2. Check all folders for hacks and mods (AntiRecoil,Skins)
3. Attempt to unpack each SFF File to check if they are Mods
TIP : Regular SFF Files are in orderly numbers. The first is 001 then the last is 027..etc Any SFF File with a greater number would definitely be the Mod
4. Restart your PC and start Special Force
5. If still Data Invalid, uninstall your Special Force and reinstall
TIP : Always keep your Installers and Patchers in 1 folder so that you will not wast time downloading them again
6. Mods are not working anymore, trust me
Connection to the Server has been lost
1. Check your internet connection
2. If it says you are still connected, try opening your Internet Browser and try visiting a site. If it works fine, then try restarting Special Force.
3. If not working or is taking a long time to respond, unplug your ethernet cable and shutdown your PC.
4. Open PC, plug ethernet cable back in
5. Try checking if sites are working on your Internet Browser and try starting Special Force
TIP : Are you downloading using uTorrent? Go to bandwidth settings and put it on low so you can minimize it's usage.
6. If all else fails, let your PC rest for a few hours and try playing Special Force again later.
Special Force has Encountered a problem and needs to be Closed
1. Try restarting Special Force and playing
2. If still encountering a problem, restart PC and start Special Force again
3. If not working yet, uninstall Special Force and reinstall
4. If alse else fails, try posting a thread on the Gameclub forums or checking their help threads
Special Force Lag
1. Turn off all other programs using the Task Manager or any other program (Gamerbooster)
2. Before playing a game, let your PC warm up a bit
3. Use your Internet Browser, or play an offline game like Counter Strike for just 10 minutes or less
4. Start Special Force and go to Configuration
5. Set Light Map , Shadow Effects and Smoke Effects to off. Go to texture and set it on low
6. Go to training first and shoot a few dummies and start playing regularly again.
NOTE : This can help alot for bad PCs like mine. It will cut your loading time in half.
7. If not working, accept it. Special Force's files are getting bigger and bigger. Stay happy
