is it possible to like, change the image of 'xx' item to look like another item?

e.g You could have begginer clothes look like something else, but only you can see it? if you get what i mean x_x

yes it is possible; either by exchanging resource strings in the client or by directly editing the resources.

no, currently there is no tool for it.
you have to change strings in the client or make an own tool

some guys already released some string texture hacks.
i think it would be easy to exchange the clothes by exchanging their names in the client.
