Always be careful when trading with someone you don't really know. You know, there is a search Q on these forums. You can always type the name of the buyer/seller to see his previous posts/trades.
Also, hiring a middleman is cheap. Would you rather pay a little fee or lose all your stuff? I don't know about you, but I already made up my mind.
