don't expect more than what you found in that thread. their dev team spokesman has already said all they intended to say in these forums. they are really secretive, don't share their progress and will never commit themselves.
imho an unprofessional way to run a server, and I have already told them so directly, but it is theirs. they can do (or not do) what they want.
if players will trust them enough to play there if they ever open a server remains to be seen.
