Which program language to start with?

Hi i know that there are a lot of programmers here and i want to learn a real programming language.
i was thinking about C# i have knowledge in php/mysql but is it a good language to begin with or should i start with vb.net?

C#/C++ . I know a little bit of C++. I learn it now in school. I am just 10TH grade.

You can easily learn them with tutorials from specialized websites.

C++ mostly. I'd suggest going for c++ aswell

Yep. Both are kinda easy to understand and learn. I don't know too much about C# but I checked few tuts on the internet if you start slowly with the basic... you can learn it in few months.

Edit: atm I learn C++ in school... like I said. I missed the "Reading Vectors" lesson >.> ... I must get it from a classmate ... cause I have in 2 weeks an exam .
