About Ruby.
We are here to offer the best possible gameplay. There is no any playable 100 cap server at the moment so since we are passionate silkroad players and really love silkroad, we are going to open a real professional server to offer some great fun. A server where you will be able to experience the real silkroad gameplay. A stable server with a mature community. A server where you will relax and have fun at your free time. We will offer original silkroad content but that doesn't mean there won't be major changes like new events and features to make the server entertaining.
How we see Ruby.
When we first thought of Ruby, we thought about an smooth silkroad server with a mature community. However nowadays in order to attract players you can't just offer a clean server. We had to be innovative and think about features that wouldn't ruin our original silkroad gameplay and attract players at the same time. This is something pretty hard but I personally think Ruby crew managed to accomplish this in a good way. What is silkroad? It is just a game, a game that you play to have fun. Do you have fun on servers full of bugs, on servers with many down times and lag? The answer is obviously no. We really believe that the less new features you add the less bugs your server will have. We only added features that we are sure won't cause any major problems to the server.
Our target.
We want a server with lots of passionate silkroad lovers and when I say a lot I mean a lot. This is something hard to accomplish since silkroad private scene is very competitive nowadays but with the professional content we provide we hope for the best. We want to provide a stable bug-free server where all players will have fair chances to reach the top. A play2win server with mature crew able to take the best decisions for its players.
What players we want to invite.
Mostly mature players with enough silkroad experience. We want to create a community where everyone will help each other where players and server's crew will be on the same side. Players won't rage quit on the first problem but instead they will help our crew with their patience and support. What have been said of course won't remind you silkroad's community but if you are not optimistic you will be sad on your entire life. I strongly believe that a big reason every private server is going down in few months is its players. This happens because players have many choices in pservers so they think they can control and threaten the team. We really want to become friends with each one of you, we want a community that will support us to the end and we will reward you with our hard work and the great gameplay we will offer for you.
What players we don't want.
We have to be clear on this so there won't be any misunderstandings. Players to complain on the first problem come up, about gameplay being boring and in general being negative all the time about everything are NOT welcome. You can instead write your feedback, give your suggestions and in general react with a way that will respect us and will only help the server. So if you don't feel like having this behavior, we suggest you not to join Ruby.
What is Phase 2.
It is something new, it is something innovative. Phase 2 is like a second grand opening, a second chance for players who didn't join or join but left and regret it now to join our community. It is a huge update with many new features and systems coming to the game to ensure the activity in all sections will be refreshed. To ensure that all new comers will be able to catch up really fast, making Ruby Online a lot more competitive & fun! With the features/changes you will read bellow we motivate new players to join since it is pretty clear that we help them catch up with many different ways, making it easier for them to reach a really competitive level at Ruby Online. So you didn't join Ruby Online yet and afraid that if you join that late you won't have any chance against the old players? This is your time!
What we have seen till now.
We already know what some guilds/players are capable of doing in order to make one server fail for their personal reasons but we could never expect to what level they could bring it. Many players & guilds tried to bring Ruby down with spreading false rumors about our server sadly they didn't achieve it. We said it and we will say it again players that can't stay on 1 server for more than 1 month are not welcome here. After 1 month has passed we are finally happy to see that we have 2600+ players online daily even though most "famous" players and guilds left with random excuses. We know what you are trying to do and what u serve, thanks to some players who opened our eyes but we won't share any names here it is not the proper place. Our community is mostly based of real silkroad players who are here just to enjoy the gameplay they are not the common epvp drama making players, we have mature players who love the game and ignore this behaviors and this is the players we want to stick with for the rest of our server's life. So remember if you want to join Ruby you have to be strong, you have to filter what you read, you have to trust us. We have so many haters you can't even imagine what other server owners - players are capable to do in order to bring 1 server down.

Re-worked Job Event.
This event was pretty inactive so we had to re-work on it. We have moved it to survival arena so the job event will be taking place there now. All you need to do is wear your job suit and visit our survival arena once the notice is up. Then all you have to do is start killing your enemies! On the end of the event the winner job union will be announced. We have also decreased the kills each job union require to have in order to win and added ranking on it as well.
Remember every kill on job war event counts for 1 RP and 1 Silk.
New Filter Restrictions.
You can't trace characters without job suit while you wear job suit (100% Ready & Working).
Capture The Flag & Battle Arena now have a limit of 1 character per PC (100% Ready & Working).
AFK Detection of CTF & BA is now improved.
New Gold Miner NPC.
A new NPC coming on Ruby Online to give a better value to gold in-game. Basically this NPC will have an important place on our economy, it will help to keep total gold in server on a balanced amount. You will find this NPC at Donwhang.

Weapon Type Switchers.
Something that all of you asked, an item to change your seal of moon weapon to the type you want. We had no reason not to bring it so here it is! You can now change your seal of moon weapon to another type of seal of moon weapon by using this new scroll available on item mall & ruby special NPC.
New SoX - Seal Of Obsidian.
A brand new SoX that we are bringing on the game so the economy and activity of the server will be refreshed. This SoX will really bring back huge activity to the game since it is stronger than SoS by +0.6. You may think it is not a big different and you are right. The truth is we didn't want to add an over-powered new SoX to respect all those who worked hard to get their SoS sets. This SoX will mostly help new comers since it is new one and none have this kind of equipment, so they have fair chances on getting them. There are so many SoS on the server, our economy is really in need of a refresh and this new SoX will do the job!
How to get Obsidian equipment?
You can get Obsidian equipment from Obsidian crates & as d10 monster drops with a hard drop rate (Job cave monsters have increased drop rates in comparison with other monsters).

How this will help new players catch up?
Remember this is a new type of sox coming to the game so prices will be pretty high on first days, you can be favored by this since the ways you obtain obsidian equipments are all giving a chance to new players.
New Crates - Obsidian Crates.
Most of you already know our crates system from Ruby Crates. However Obsidian Crates will be harder to get. There are 2 different ways to get those crates:
From Ruby Special NPC for 80 Ruby Points (RP) and 50 Ruby Jewels.
Opening an Obsidian Crate can give you the following:
Success! You will get a random Obsidian item.
Fail! You will get nothing.
Adding those crates with the same system ruby crates had (keys) would just encourage botting while we want to encourage jobbing.
Jobbing Changes.
We really wanted to bring even more jobbing activity since the Ruby Points limit of 375 was pretty much killing jobbing max Friday. What we did?
Trades now give Ruby Jewel!
Thieves now get 7 RP from 5*.
Ruby Points limit is increased to 400.
You can buy the new Obsidian Crate for 80 (RP) & 50 (RJ).
Will also try to disable tracing on chars without job suit when your job suit is on so caravans will be more fun.
Forgotten World - (New)Seal Of Vega (Weapons/Shields).
A new basic feature that we implemented to help all players catch up, of course the new SoX earned by Forgotten World (SoV) is not as strong as SoM but the different is not that big, it will still be competitive. So basically players can get Seal Of Vega weapons/shields from Forgotten World the normal way, you simply complete the collection of 8 talismans. This feature can also favor old players who already bought their SoM weapons since all players want to have a shield as well and some builds also require 2 weapon.

There will be 8 forgotten world talismans, you need to collect all of them to get: VEGA Weapon/Shield of your choice. About talismans, 6 will be tradeable to refresh the economy and 2 will be untradeable to make sure donators won't just buy all for silk instantly.
You can only get Forgotten World pillars from Gold Miner NPC for gold. By doing this we give gold a lot more value since in order to participate in forgotten world you need to buy pillars for a high amount of gold.

Also FGW uniques will have the chance to drop a ruby crate:

FGW uniques have a chance to drop seal of star & seal of obsidian equipment with a hard drop rate. They will also drop Ruby Jewel as well as other scrolls such as Trigger, Hit etc.
New Uniques. Arabia Uniques.
Arabia uniques are coming! We will add all arabia uniques (customized to fit 100 cap of course) to spawn all over the map on random spots which we won't share don't ask us about this. This unique will be spawning everyday with some incredible drops making them a main activity! It won't be easy to kill them, will require many people to attack. This uniques will really bring back lots of activity on unique hunting since everyone will love to have their drops. So get ready for some daily crazy unique hunting!

Ruphus (New).
A new unique, it will be level 1 and everyone can 1 hit it. The purpose of this unique is to give new players a chance to kill uniques and get some great loot. This unique will spawn outside Jangan every 2 hours.
Drops: 1 Immortal Stone, 50 silk scroll, 1 global, 2 reverse, 2x damage and absorb scrolls & other scrolls.

You will find all our new systems & features by clicking on the spoiler bellow. Those are our old features before grand opening (with updates applied of course).
Job levels.
After reaching level 7 on your job union the normal silkroad way in order to level up you will need to kill other players from enemy job unions. Keep in mind that in order to level up you need to collect 100 points (1 kill = 1 point, 1 death = -0.5 point). We have protected this system with enough restrictions so you won't be able to abuse it.
HWID Limit when job suit is on [1].
This might be a small change but you can't imagine how HUGE influence it will have on our gameplay. All players won't be available to use more than 1 character while job suit is on, while they are doing trades, farming on job cave etc. What this means? It means that there won't be any bot characters ruining our gameplay by abusing our system. You won't see any bots doing trades only active players! Ruby is a really job based server and we couldn't allow jobbing unprotected.
Reverse & instant return scrolls cd on jobbing increased to 5 minutes.
It is one of the most annoying parts of jobbing when you are about to kill a hunter and before he dies he uses reverse to escape, or the opposite. How to solve this big issue? Simply by adding a big cd on reverse & instant return scrolls while job suit is on. You can now enjoy jobbing for real without getting pissed.
Job Cave.
A feature that is really needed on a job based server and we definitely have to add. However simply adding a job cave won't be enough since it usually results on just having one more dead cave. We really wanted to think about something that will keep it active. So we have edited egyptian uniques to fit 100 cap, this uniques will be pretty hard to kill solo also keep in mind that all job unions will have access to them so you have to fight for them. Additionally job cave monsters will have a chance to drop the keys you need to get the Ruby crate.
Job temple is a really important part of Ruby since it will help all players have access to silk items (With ruby crates & unique drops) making Ruby really play2win and at the same time offering some great jobbing fights!

We have moved job cave to an area we think is the most appropriate since it is an area in the middle of a trade route and not in a safe zone means you will have to fight your way to the job cave.
Job Cave Uniques.
Our job cave will also offer 6 different uniques to hunt & kill. These are the all-known egyptian uniques (Isis, Anubis, Neith, Selkis, Seth & Haroeris). To make it more competitive and fun we have decided to add some great drops on this uniques which are the following:

We have added 3 custom trade routes, walk through videos are available bellow so you won't have any problems on them. A job based server like Ruby could not exist without its special trade routes to let players enjoy different routes, have new experiences and some great fun!

New job suits.
New job suits are available with increased STR-INT stats. You can get the new job suits for an amount of gold from any merchant but in order to wear them you have to be a specific level written on the job suit.
There are 5 different job suits each increasing the amount of STR-INT its previous was given by one reaching to up to 5 STR & 5 INT increase.
Titles & character effects for top 3 jobbers.
Top 3 jobbers from every job union based on contribution will receive a special title and an awesome character effect making them feel really special. Ruby is a really job based server and we are encouraging jobbing with all possible ways. Trust me this effect & title is worth it to make you job all day!

These titles offer a zerk with 15% more damage.
Honor buffs / job contribution.
On Ruby top 5 contributors of every job union will receive all 4 honor buffs and a special title. Keep in mind that your job level also counts. So all you have to do is be active with your job union & level your job level to get to the top of the job ranking. Additionally not only the top 5 will receive honor buffs, we made it like the original silkroad's academy system so it is like this. Honor rank will be updated every [1] hour.
The top 5 will get all 4 honor buffs.
From top 5 to top 10 will receive all except the crown.
From top 10 to top 25 will receive the silver and the copper buff.
From top 25 to top 40 will receive the copper buff.

Ruby's max degree of items you can equip will be 10th.

Start items & Auto equipment.
Made to perfectly fit an oldschool server. Not a bunch of useless items as start items just basic ones plus 500.000 skill points to help you on the very start of the server. Auto equipment will be seal of moon +5 / full blue until D7 then you will start receiving sos smaking sure you won't have any troubles leveling. Also you will start with a buff giving you 100% moving speed for 3 days.
New wing effects.
We have added some incredible new wing effects which believe me are really freaking awesome! This wings are just a visual upgrade and do not give any stars or anything like this. You will find them on Ruby's item mall for a fair silk price. We will start with only 2 different wing colors so our server won't look over-edited. More color choices will come on updates.

Custom plus glows.
Even though plus glows from +1 to +10 are the normal isro glows, we wanted to customize +11 & +12 glow so people would have a real reason to achieve this high plus values. Believe me +12 glow is the best you have ever seen.

Automatic grant name granting.
A new feature was added, you can now assign your grantname by yourself without bothering your guild master.
How it works?
PM your guild master with: /grantname HERE
Replace 'HERE' with your grant name and done.
How to turn it on or off? (For Guild Masters)

High level horses available.
We have added all horses available in silkroad to offer more variety & fun. This will also help you move faster for no cost since you can find all horses on all town's stables for a low amount of gold!
Avatars.
We have added so many different avatars. You can find them in Avatar NPC located in Donwhang or in the item mall. There are really all avatars ever made on silkroad and we even added some custom ones like the one bellow!
Global alchemy notice.
After you have fused an alchemy to a plus value over +9 a global will automatically be written writing your name and the plus value you have achieved.
Guild start level.
All guilds will now start from level 5 after created, this is to help all guilds group up and use all guilds function faster.
Advanced permanent buffs system.
We have made all chinese buffs permanent so now even if you re-log, teleport or die you will still have all your buffs activated. By doing this we help you save some time since we all know how boring it is to activate all your buffs 1 by 1 especially if you are chinese. Our system is really advanced because it does this for all skills from all levels not just the last ones!
Model switchers are available.
We have added the well known model switchers so all players can have the weapon/shield shape of the degree they liked most. Model switchers will be available for silk in the item mall.
Our BOT commands.
A BOT will be available with name (BOT[System]) providing you some useful chat commands. Keep in mind that we will be adding more & more commands by the time to make our BOT even more useful for you. This commands are the following:
/titles - Will show all your available titles and then you are able to choose the one you prefer by sending /set and the number of the title you prefer for example /set 1
/job - Will show the reward you will get after restarting. It shows what you've got from the trades you've made without restarting. So now you don't have to restart after every trade to receive your reward, you can simply check it with this chat command and then restart in the end to get all in one.
/limit - Will show how close you are to our weekly Ruby Points limits. This will help players know how many Ruby Points they can get more from every system before they get limited.
/rank - Will show top 3 players of every job union based on contribution and job level.
Our filter restrictions.
One of our developers is really professionals in filters and you will realise it by checking the restriction we have made bellow!
Battle Arena AFK Detector (Disconnects a player if detected that he is AFK).
You must be level 100 to participate in CTF or battle arena.
You cannot use any res skills while on CTF or battle arena.
Alchemy creation disabled.
You cannot ride fellow pet during zerk (to avoid speed bug).
You cannot terminate pet in town.
Exit / Exchange / Stall cooldown.
You cannot use reverse while job suit is on.
You cannot use instant return scroll while job suit is on.
You cannot spawn fellow pet while job suit is on.
You can only have 1 character wearing job suit at a time.
PK disabled (it will cause DC).
Maximum plus value [+12].
HWID limits.
In order to provide a fair gameplay we had to restrict unlimited access to the server. Not all players are able to open more than 2 clients. A server full of bots is something we really don't want Ruby to become. That's why we have made an advanced hwid limit of 2 clients per PC and we are also willing to update it whenever someone bypasses it. Additionally we have set a hwid limit of 1 while jobbing to avoid cheating & on fortress war to have a fun and fair fortress war!

Reverse & global cool-down.
We have added a cool-down of 20 seconds to global chatting. Is is really annoying and mind blowing to try to read globals when they are going crazy. Obviously a cool-down was needed. About reverse return scrolls a cool-down of 60 seconds was added so there won't be the same unique killer for all uniques.
Ruby new NPCs.
We have added some new NPCs that will be really useful for you to visit. Our main city is Donwhang (all new NPCs are located there). There are 4 new NPCs. Title dealer (sells lots of different titles for silk), Ruby special NPC (sells items for ruby points, roc mountain key), Sox dealer sells all seal of moon item for ruby points and our Avatar shop which sells many different avatars for silk.

Regarding fortress war.
We are thinking of having 2 fortresses enabled Constantinople & Hotan. So all guilds will have a chance to hope for a fortress to own. However we leave it up to you by providing a poll where you can vote how many and which fortresses you wish to have. Fortress war times weekly:

Balance changes.
Private servers differ a lot from real silkroad. Silkroad's gameplay was made to fit on a slow growth environment. Pservers grow a lot faster and this is making the balance between builds pretty messed up. Some parts clearly need modifications in order to provide a really competitive server for all kind of builds. We want Ruby to have a big variety of builds and we really hope we will achieve this with the following balance changes.
Note: All imbues (cold, light, fire) now have the same damage.

Mind Concentration / Now gives 13% critical increase, 95 attack rate, 10 STR & 10 INT.
Silk items balanced.
The truth is a private server can survive only thanks to the item mall. This is something that we can't deny but there are some items that are really gameplay changing giving a really great boost of damage to players who own them. Talking about Premium, Devil and Avatars the difference these 3 items can make is huge. So we focused on decreasing the stats these items give in order to offer a more balanced gameplay. In the other hand it is obvious that the gap isn't covered but reading our topic you will find out pretty easily that you can get all these 3 (Premium, Devil, Avatar) with many different ways. And no I am not talking about ones with reduced stats!

There is a new tab on item mall called ruby special. You will find many useful scrolls there. You can buy them for silk. Those scrolls are shown on the photo bellow.
Guild & union limits.
By decreasing the guild and player limits of union and guilds we make sure that there will be more guilds & unions in the server making it a lot more competitive and fun. Also by doing this fortress war will be a lot more fun.
Guild limit: 32 Players.
Union limit: 3 guilds.
Union chat for all members.
Masters can now give union chat authority to all members of their guild. Since guild/union limits are lower than isro's it was really pointless to keep union chat authority limited for some members only. With 32 players limit per guild and 3 guilds per union we are pretty sure there won't be massive spam and all members should have access on union chat.
End-game grinding areas.
We know how annoying it is to get ksed on every single spot you go. So to make sure every player will have his own spot, a spot where none will ks him we have added lots of areas for end-game grinding.

Holy water temple.
You can now visit holy water temple by using the teleporter located in Donwhang (Check the photo bellow to know the exact location). On HWT you will find uniques which will drop ruby crate keys, silk items and also have a chance of 10% to drop seal of star equipment.

All fellow pets have been added on the item mall. Fellow pets are really fun to use and it would be so bad not to have them. However we are aware of the speed bug so fellow pets won't be available to use during jobbing or fortress war.

(Play2Win) Alchemy.
Alchemy is a big part of silkroad, so we really needed to balance alchemy in a way that will be fair for all players. We started by disabling astrals completely from the game, you can't get astrals by any way in Ruby. Also since immortals are a really important part of alchemy there should be many ways to get them except with silk from the item mall. On Ruby you can get immortal stones with 4 different ways:
With silk from the item mall.
With ruby points from Ruby Special NPC.
From ruby crates.
As job temple unique drops.
On Ruby Special NPC you will find almost every single silk item for ruby points making ruby really play2win!
Also the max plus value you can reach on each item is [+12]. As we think high plus values are ruining the gameplay (newcomers get disappointed and never join and also high plus values don't fit on the oldschool environment we want to provide). Additionally advance elixirs are completely removed from the game.

We've brought back the old pvp cape as we can't imagine how our oldschool environment would stand without it.
Main Currencies Ruby Points & Ruby Jewel.
Coins system is just boring, ab-usable and complicated. We have decided to just use two main currency called ruby points & ruby jewel. You can earn this points by jobbing, capture the flag, battle arena and killing uniques. The most efficient way to earn this points is obviously jobbing. We really believe that to provide a successful and fun to play server jobbing should be a big part of it. However because we also believe CTF/BA are really fun and a server based on them would be fun as well we haven't added any limit on them means you can have as many ruby jewels as you can have from them.
Also for economy reasons we added a new currency for players to receive from CTF/BA called Ruby Jewel. We made this so players could trade their Ruby Jewel (sell or buy them) and by this ensuring Ruby will have a really active economy and community.
1. Weekly ruby points limit from jobbing: 375 & from job kills : 50.
Traders will receive x ruby points for completing a 3* trade.
Traders will receive x ruby points for completing a 4* trade.
Traders will receive x ruby points for completing a 5* trade.
Thieves will receive x ruby points for stealing a 3* trade.
Thieves will receive x ruby points for stealing a 4* trade.
Thieves will receive x ruby points for stealing a 5* trade.
Hunters will receive x ruby points for protecting a trade.
Note: The more thieves on a party the more ruby points & gold they will get.
Anti-Cheat systems are set so there won't be any abusing.
2. Ruby jewels limit from CTF/BA: Unlimited.
Keep in mind that from CTF/BA you will receive Ruby jewel. Ruby jewels are needed in order to purchase seal of moon equipment.
You will receive 1 ruby jewel per ctf player kill.
You will receive 1 ruby jewel for capture the flag win.
You will receive 7 ruby jewel for battle arena win.
You will receive 1 ruby jewel for battle arena defeat.
Ruby will be really based on CTF/BA activity therefore we had to fully protect CTF/BA from cheaters and abusers. What we did?
CTF/BA level limit is 100
Developed an AFK detector (will detect afk players on CTF/BA).
All kind of res skills are disabled while on capture the flag or battle arena.
3. Weekly ruby points limit from uniques: 100.
Tiger Girl will give 5 ruby points as reward.
Cerberus will give 5 ruby points as reward.
Captain Ivy will give 6 ruby points as reward.
Uruchi will give 7 ruby points as reward.
Isyaturu will give 8 ruby points as reward
Lord Yarkan will give 9 ruby points as reward.
Demon Shaitan will give 10 ruby points as reward.
Roc will give 35 ruby points as reward.
Medusa will give 35 ruby points as reward.
Job Temple Uniques will give 15 ruby points as reward.
4. Weekly ruby points limit from Survival Arena: 50.

Uniques & Drops.
On Ruby you will only find the class silkroad uniques, we have decided not to add any custom unique as we think it is bad for the gameplay we want to offer. The strongest uniques on Ruby will be Roc & Medusa (edited to fit 100 cap).
Note: Cerberus spawns in Jangan & Captain Ivy at Donwhang.
All low level uniques [Tiger Girl, Cerberus, Captain Ivy, Uruchi] drop 1x globals, 1~3 reverses, 1 ~ 3 hit scroll, trigger scroll, moving speed scroll, dodging scroll & an amount of ruby points as you've read above.
From Isyaturu and above [Isyaturu, Lord Yarkan, Demon Shaitan, Job cave uniques, jangan cave uniques etc] drop drop 2~4 globals, 2~4 reverses, 2 ~ 4 hit scroll, trigger scroll, moving speed scroll, dodging scroll & an amount of ruby points as you've read above (except jangan cave uniques).
Medusa (Sarin-Tribe):
Teleport to Jangan Cave - B4 from Jangan teleporter, from there you'll find Snake head, which can teleport you to B5 from it. The 4 uniques needs to be killed in order for Shinmoo to spawn! In each side you'll find one (there are 4 sides) After killing them, Shinmoo will spawn in the middle (the tree) Shinmoo needs to be killed in order for the teleport to B6 to appear. After teleport to B6, you'll have to kill regular mobs which spawn in a circle. After killing this monsters, a teleporter to White Viper Gate will appear, there you'll find medusa!
Spawn day/time: Saturday & Tuesday at 7 PM GMT+1
Drops: Gives 35 [RP] to the killer, 2~6 seal of star items, 1 ruby time ticket (8 days), 8x globals, 8x reverses. Also gives title [Medusa Slayer] with 15% increased zerk damage.
Roc (Gate of Ruler):
You have to buy Key Of Bloodline from Ruby Special NPC then go to Gate Of Ruler in Roc Mountain, teleport from there and you'll spawn in Mt. Roc Summit, there will be 7 of Seal Stone of the Essence, each of them will spawn a regular unique after being killed. When you kill all the regular uniques and Seal Stone of the Essence, this message will appear:
After 10 minutes, the Roc will appear!
Spawn day/time: Monday & Thursday at 7 PM GMT+1
Drops: Gives 35 [RP] to the killer, 2~6 seal of star items, 1 ruby time ticket (8 days), 8x globals, 8x reverses. Also gives title [Roc Slayer] with 15% increased zerk damage.
Update (After BETA)! Now all uniques drop damage scrolls and immortal stones.
Re-worked wanted system.
A global message will be written with your name and you'll be given a buff with higher stats, the higher your kill streak goes (10, 25, 40, 70, 100). You will lose your buff and your kill streak will end once you are dead. Keep in mind that global message is different for every kill streak!
New title system.
A brand new title system allowing you to see all titles you own and choose the one you like most without losing all the other titles you have unlocked! It is a really smooth system working with message commands. To see your available titles simply send message to [BOT]System and type /titles on it the bot will answer back with all your available titles. To set title you want type /set x (x= the number of the title you want) for example if you want to set the Captain title send message /set 1 as the photo bellow. Then you teleport and the title you have chosen is now active!
Where & how to get titles?
You can get a title by being the top player on killing one specific unique, by being the top of a job union or simply by purchasing from the [Title Dealer NPC] located in Donwhang, you will find so many different titles there (7 full pages).
How to get SoX.
We really wanted to keep it simple and easy to understand. I am pretty sure we achieved this. All moon equipment require one and only currency ruby points that you earn with many different ways that you've already read above. It is a really simple & fun system that all players can easily understand. No coins, no complicated upgrade systems just pure silkroad as it has to be.
Seal of Star (Permanent): The normal way just by farming monsters (job cave monsters have higher drop rates) or from ruby crates.
Seal of Moon (Temporary):
Weapons.
You can get seal of moon weapons with ruby points, ruby jewel & gold.
Set parts.
You can get seal of moon set parts with ruby points, ruby jewel & gold.
Accessories.
You can get seal of moon accessories with ruby points, ruby jewel & gold.
However every moon item will be usable only for 14 days after buying it. After 14 days pass you won't be able to use it (it won't disappear you just won't be able to use it). All you have to do then is purchase a [Ruby - Time ticket] for ruby points & gold as well which will add 8 days of usage more to your seal of moon. Read more regarding this bellow.

Temporary seal of moons (Brand new feature).
A big reason every pserver is dying pretty fast is that every player get his final set he pimp it to a good plus value and then there is nothing more to do. But why give seal of moon equipment permanently? We thought about a brand new idea and in my opinion it is a really revolutionary one. It is simple there should be something that will keep players jobbing for ever. Something that won't allow jobbing to die after players get their seal of moon set.
How to do that? We simply made all seal of moon WEAPONS ONLY last for a certain period of time. What this means? For example lets say you've just bought your seal of moon weapon, it will last for 14 days and then you won't be able to use it. Of course this doesn't mean your weapon will disappear but you won't be able to use it until you buy some time for it.
How to buy more time for your moons? There are 2 different ways:
1. You have to purchase [Ruby - Time ticket] from Special Ruby NPC it will cost an amount of ruby points & gold. After using it 14 days of usage will be added on your seal of moon weapon.
2. You can purchase [Ruby - Time ticket] from Diamond Dealer NPC it will cost an amount of gold & diamond tokens. There are 3 different versions you can find there (1 day ticket, 2 days ticket & 3 days ticket).
By doing this we make sure you won't stop jobbing. We make sure that jobbing will always be needed since every moon part you buy will need a time ticket after 14 days pass in order to be usable. So what Ruby has to offer? NON STOP JOB ACTIVITY!!
Diamond tokens system.
A brand new system to encourage unique hunting and job cave. You can get diamond tokens by killing uniques or by farming monsters inside job cave. With this tokens you can buy lots of different and useful items from Diamond Dealer NPC (location Donwhang) like flags which give STR & INT, silk items & even premium. It is a really play2win system to help all players have access to silk items! Additionally you can find the incredibly valuable and useful time tickets (which add more days of usage to your seal of moon items) there in three different versions (1 day, 2 days & 3 days). And you know what? You can even buy trans pet with diamond tokens which means Ruby is total play2win since you can now find silk trans pet from in-game currencies!
Job cave uniques drop 15 Diamond tokens.
Ruby crate.
A simple and really play2win feature, collect 3 different keys (dropping from job temple monsters) to purchase the ruby crate. It is something we wanted to add so players could access silk items without donating.
To buy the ruby crate you need to have all 3 keys [Key of Darkness, Key of Mystery, Key of Fear]. These keys drop from job temple & jangan cave (to make sure all players will have access to them since usually job temple is ruled by strong players) monsters & uniques.
After opening a ruby crate you will receive a message informing you about the reward you won.
A ruby crate can contain:
1~10 globals.
1~10 reverse return scrolls.
1 extension gear.
1 pet clock
1 random avatar hat.
1 random avatar dress.
1 devil spirit.
1 random (attack or grab) pet.
1 random seal of star item
1~5 immortal stones.
Nothing!

Constantinople fortress war.
Our main fortress will be Constantinople. We strongly believe you are all bored of fighting on the same fortress all the time. By offering you Constantinople fortress we are sure you will have a lot more fun on fortress war since it is a fortress most of us didn't really experience a lot. It is by far the most enjoyable fortress! Keep in mind that there will be 2 available fortreses Hotan & Constantinople
A brand new system, allowing you to level up your SoX equipment! A new level means all stats and when I say all I mean all stats will get higher by a small amount. Keep in mind that all SoX items and all kind of equipment (set,accessories,weapons) can level up. We have developed this system so Ruby will never come to the point where everyone have a full set max plus etc and have nothing more to do. There are 9 different levels to add to all your items and believe me this will take a very long time to do! To level up the item you wish all you need is a Ruby - Level Up scroll which you can purchase for Ruby Points (RP) from Special Ruby NPC or get as medusa/roc drops.
You may wonder WTF is this I don't understand shit and this is normal so let me explain you the reason we added this system & how it works.
Let's say you have 1 seal of star +8 weapon and you want to make it stronger but afraid to try more +. What you do? You collect ruby points from jobbing, uniques, CTF/BA or you go ROC/MEDUSA and get 1 Ruby - Level Up scroll. With this scroll you can add more stats to your weapon without losing its + value so its like a + with sure success that you have to work for and it doesn't depend on luck! Awesome? It is.
Note: The max stats the item can reach with sox leveling (when it gets level 9) is +1.8. This is not an over-edited system.
After purchasing a Ruby - Level Up scroll all you need to do is put the SoX you want to level up to the first slot of your inventory and press the scroll.
Then your SoX will be one level higher and will have higher stats!

Automatic Trivia Event.
The well known trivia event is enabled on Ruby. It is a re-developed event by our developers and it will have new questions - answers none used before on any server.
Reward for each round: 25 Silks
Frequency: 1 hour
Automatic Kill The GM Event.
An awesome event. When the notice appears all you have to do is go to the location asked. There you will find our BOT waiting for you to attack it! The player to kill it will win the round and get the silk reward.
Automatic Hide & Seek Event.
The infamous Hide & Seek Event, you're required to find [Event]HideNSeek once you do, you have to exchange him in order to win.
Reward for each round: 100 Silk
Automatic Lucky Party Number Event.
A common event where all players have to form a certain party number to win after the notice saying the event has started. If you do form the asked party number you will win an amount of silk!
Reward for each round: 80 Silks
Automatic Alchemy Event.
Our bot will be dropping +3 Items in 8 rounds, each round will drop a different kind of item. You are required to plus one of these items to +6. Notice will inform you about the location our bot will spawn to drop the items.
Reward: 200 Silk
Automatic Search & Destroy Event.
On this event after the notice appears some special uniques will appear on some random locations all over the map. Then globals will be written with the location each unique is spawned and all you have to do is find it and kill it to win an amount of silk!
Reward: 25 Silk
Automatic Job War Event.
A brand new event we have developed to bring more activity to the game! This event is pretty simple when the notice appears all you have to do is wear your job cape and go to the teleporter (located near Hotan Stable). There are 2 separate teleporters one for hunters/traders and one for thieves. Then all you have to do is start killing your enemies! On the end of the event the winner job union will be announced.
For every kill on the job war event THIEVES will receive: 1 Ruby Point (RP) and 2 Silk.
For every kill on the job war event HUNTERS/TRADERS will receive: 1 Ruby Point (RP) and 1 Silk.
Job War Event will start everyday at 3 AM GMT+1 & 9 PM GMT+1.
Automatic Survival Arena War Event.
A brand new event available twice per day at 00:00 and 18:00 server time. This event is really one of the most fun to participate on Ruby Online. After the notice is up all you have to do is teleport on the area (to be found on every town's teleporter) and wear your pvp cape. All kills inside the survival arena count and for every kill you will get 1 RP (Ruby Point). The top killer (winner) of this event will get a bonus reward. Keep in mind that we are also making rankings for this event so top players on it will be known.
Access: All town teleporters. Note: You can't kill the same player 5 times.
Automatic Lottery Event.
The well-known lottery event. We really had to add this event to our server to give a great value to gold since it was starting to be useless. There are 3 different ticket kinds to participate on this event [Bronze, Silver & Gold] each of them giving a higher chance to win. Of course by the name, bronze gives the least chance to win and gold gives the highest, Silver is in the middle.
You can buy Lottery Tickets from Ruby Special NPC located near Donwhang Storage.
Prices for them:
-Bronze 100m gold.
-Silver 400m gold.
-Gold 800m gold.
When you buy a Lottery Ticket, you'll be automatically registered into our Lottery Event and winners will be chosen randomly and announced at 8 PM GMT+1 (Everyday).
There will be 15 different winners who will win silk starting from 50 up to 1.500!
Keep in mind there are some limits to make sure we won't make rich people richer and poor people poorer.
You can participate with only 5 of bronze tickets.

You can participate with 2 of Gold Ticket.
[NEW] Clash Of Guilds Event.
A never seen before event that we developed in order to encourage massive guild activity. When this event starts you have 5 days to reach to the required points needed as a guild to make your guild win.
Guilds can earn points from unique kills, trades-caravans, job kills & survival arena kills!
The reward will be 250 silks to each guild member [Only the guild with most points gets the reward]

Signature event.

[NEW]Holidays System.
It is pretty common to leave for a week or more and then come back and find your account hacked. With this new system you can have your holidays and feel sure & safe about your account. You simply choose the date you want your ban to start and the date you want it to end so none will have access to it while you are away! Personally I would suggest doing it more common not only on holidays, even if you are about to be away for a day, even for 1 hour just do it! Keep in mind that you can stop the ban whenever you want just by using the link you will receive on your e-mail. There are so many dbs released and so many players have many ids and pws on their hands. So you are never safe.
