What is Eltsur Online?
Eltsur Online is a 85 cap server running on the vSRO files. It is a fairly low rate server, however the focus is on delivering new in-game content to make the leveling process more fun by offering the player different routes e.g: Grinding, questing and instances - as well providing stuff to do end game.

What makes us different from everyone else?
We want to set the new standard for private servers in the gaming community. We are bringing over 3 years worth of experience and a wealth of history playing Silkroad to create the perfect Silkroad server.

We have spent many months planning and executing the steps needed to grow a strong community and how we can maintain it overtime - to ensure the longevity of Eltsur. We have looked at our own past experience, other servers, and bought in people with the expertise to accomplish this. The first thing we have addressed is DDOS protection and fixing exploits.

Custom Instances (Triggers):
These new instances add a new leveling experience for you and your party. One available for all level ranges - with more in the pipeline later. Not only will this make leveling more fun, but create new challenges to the end game. Current instances include: Mayan Temple (37-44), Downhang Temple (45-52), Thief Den (53-60), Downhang Cave (61-68), Taklamakan Dimension (69-76), Snake Cavern (77-85). These can be found marked on the in-game map/

Set System:
Dozens of new Ancient sets (each with unique attributes) have been added. These drop from ancient monsters found across the world and the new instance bosses. Each set will have a unique glow showing your unique accomplishments.

Balanced rebirth system:
A new challenge awaits you when you hit the level cap! Unlock rewards and unique titles - become reborn and start again to claim your fame! This is designed to be balanced - yet still with incentives. The bonuses are cosmetic, thus not making these players feel overpowered. You can gain a special job suit and an aura once logged into the website and rebirth your character.

Soft cap:
You cannot reach the maximum cap by grinding, only by doing a special quest line. This introduces a new experience making the server enjoyable both for legit and botters without impacting each other.

Amended Questing System:
New quests with realistic goals and rewards to push players to trying alternative routes than grinding. Most quests offer an item reward - as well as unique item mall items not found in the ingame store.



Ancient Monsters:
We have adjusted the uniques to make them more appealing to players. There will also be special mobs, that drop uniques items - such as high-end trade transports, adding yet another layer of fun to the trade system.

Ancient Skills:
New unworldly abilities. These are only usable on monsters and should be used smartly as they include long cooldowns. So if your grinding in a party or want to take down a giant in seconds, these skills will provide you with the ability to do so.

Complete quests even faster.





Balanced Classes:
Proved and tested skill changes that bring balance to all classes - no more is the overpowered class. Learn your rotation to become top. Have fun trying out both Chinese or European races.

How to start leveling up?

QUESTS

After the creation of your char you will spawn at Jangan. Many people think that to level

up they just have to kill the mobs like they always did and they expect high experience and

skill points rates. Their expectations go down after they see that 1 mobs give them like

0.01% exp and a half skill point. What to do then? How to level up?

Here's come the first tip. To level up fast you need to do quests. Quests were re-worked to

give you a lot more EXP and SP and they give you also some cool items like elixirs, ride

pets, Globals, reverses and so on. But now another problem has just shown up. Which quest

should I do? Why can't I take Donwhang's quests?

Here's the second tip: Jangan area was re-worked too to fit up the starting level (37) and

there you will find all the mobs at your level (37 and higher) and the quest in Jangan give

you also all the things that were pointed out before. So, after creating your character

teleport to jangan and take start doing the quests. The problem is that in Silkroad the

quests were never been a main part of the game or at least not in private sro scene, so if

you don't know from who you have to. Take the quests ectcetera just press H and open

"Quest" section and you will find a long list of quest. My advice is to start from the

first and try to do them all. And don't worry if you are scared from old days in isro where

the quests needed years to be done. Not only the reward has been reworked but also the

requirement of the quests. An example: I think that everyone did that boring quest that

wants you to kill 500 Flowers (lv 46 mobs) out of hotan and it was almost impossible to do

cause of the bad spawn rate of those mobs; that's why the quest here in Eltsur need only 75

kills to be done. No more boring hours spent to try to finish a quest. You will experience

a new way of grinding.



So once the Jangan's quests are all done you should be higher enough to start directly

hotan quests. Keep doing quests untill level 80. From 80 to 85 the only way to lv up is by

doing 5 specific quests.

You can get this quest at Jangan from Ascension Priest.



Once you do the first quest you will be lv 81 and a title + you unlock the next quest. This

quest are different from normal quests, you will discover why while doing them.

FORGOTTEN WORLD

If you want to experience something different from doing quests and you still want to lv up

fast to reach the cap as soon as possible another good way to do that is going to Forgotten

World.

How to get in? What shall I expect from this feature? How many times can I enter?

How to get in : At Hotan town, near Battle arena shop there is a npc named "Forgotten World

Guide" who sells a lot of interesting things. One of them is the "Dimension Hole" which you

need to teleport into Forgotten World. There are Dimension Hole for each lv (37-50 ; 51-60;

61-70, 71-80 & 81-90) and different grades.




What I shall expect from this feature: Once you are inside the Forgotten World you have to

defeat all the mobs/ uniques/ boss as you always did. What's new then? Mobs inside drop

"Job Coins" that you need to buy some cool items that will make your experience here and

your grinding more confortable. Indeed, you can buy 6&7 Degree SUN weapons/shield already

+5 ( normal NPCs sell SOM+4 weapons/ armors/ accessories), you can also buy 7 days pet

clock, monster scroll (which will be explained later) and other things that you will

discover during your journey here in Eltsur. In every camp you will find an unique which

drops Job coins, Global chatting also, Speed buffs and some stones (stones and Job coins

can be dropped also by the Treasure Boxes) and if you're lucky they can also drop immortal/

astral's stones.





Don't forget to pick up also Forgotten world quest ( you can still find the list by

pressing H and in "Quest" section look for the Forgotten world that matchs ip with your

level (The phantom of the crimson Blood for lv 37-70; The burning abyss for lv 71-85) that

can be done 1 time per day.

How many times I can enter: The time is the standar one from real Isro and it should be

around 4h. The Forgotten world's quests can be done once per day and they give you good

exp/sp rewards plus some cool items like elixirs and other things you have to discover

CUSTOM SPOT & ANCIENT SKILLS

Do you still think that quests are hard to do becouse of the bad spawns? Do you would like

to do half of the quest in just a few seconds? Then this server is the one you have ever

dreamed to play in. Why? Becouse of the Custom spot and the powerful ancient skills. Custom

spots: Almost every type of mobs has a place in which the spawn is incredible high, you can

find over 20 mobs in the same place and they keep spawning very fast once you kill them.


Ancient skills: These skills are very very strong that can be used only against the mobs

and they have a bit higher cooldown (going from 45 sec to 2 minutes). There're 2 types of

ancient skills: first is made by the skills used to deal damage, second one is one with the

buffs skills.

First Group: The "beauty" of these skills is that make you able to kill an higher damage of

mobs becouse of their high damage + the high attack range and the number of targets they

can hit.



Second group: These skills can give you some bonuses that are very cool like 222% speed,

parry ratio increase and other cool buffs that you will find yourself playing the game!


Every skill group has his own Ancient skills, obviously some skills are reserver for strong

chars and other for int chars but with the combination of your masteries you will be able

to use around 4-5 ancient skills or even more.

ANCIENT UNIQUES AND SETS

What Ancient are? What are they for?

What Ancient are: Ancient mobs are a particoular type of uniques (should be around 30)

starting from low lv till the higher ones with custom spawn points ( I will try to make a

map with the spawn point but this gonna take a bit. I'll try to do the same for custom

grind spot but this will be even more difficult cause of their high number) that are very

strong (if you're lv 42 just forget about soloing a lv 42 ancient) that you need a party,

or you need to be a lot levels higher than the ancient itself, to kill it. These uniques

give a lot of experience so If you don't like lvling up by doing quests or you don't like

going to Forgotten World, here you have another way to level up pretty fast.

What they are for: The aim of killing an ancient is not only the high amount of exp that he

gives but, mainly are the that he drops. Why? Becouse every ancient drop a particular set (

usually is made by a weapon/shield + one part of the set or an accessories). These ancient

items are better than normal and even than SOS ones ( Ancient should be like sos+3) but

this still not be the main reason why I recommend you to collect them. The best feature ,

indeed, is the set bonuses.
If you have both the part of the set ( for exaple the shield + the necklace [Must be of the

same type] you will gain some cool bonuses that make your Ancient items even better and

stronger)


If you care only about how your char looks and you wanna differ among the people then

ancient items are made for you cause of their unusual glow.

MONSTER SCROLL AND QUESTS

Do you love playing in a party? Do you lack of Skill points? Do you want to do some easy

gold/ exp / Skill points every day? Here's the answer: Monster scrolls.

What monster scrolls are? How to get them? Where can I take their respective quests?

What are monster scrolls: A monster scroll is a scroll that, once you click and use it, it

will spawn a certain number of mobs that is equal to the number of the members that are in

the party.

The mobs spawned are very strong and you will need a good party to kill them.

How to get them: There are 3 ways to get them:

1. They dropped from uniques / ancient mobs all around the maps especially from high lv

ancients.
2. Can be bought from "Forgotten World Guide" for the price of 10 milions gold + 10 Job

coins.
3. You can win them playing Bobby's lottery (Magic Pop) that can be bought from Accessory

shop for the price of 1 milion each card.

Where I can get thei respective quest: Monster scrolls are very usefull if you combine them

with their relative quests. The quest can be take from Hotan Accessory shop. You can get

until 4 different grades of quests. Collecting rare grade I (II - III - IV) essences is the

name of the quest. Grade 2 is unlocked after you reach lv 52, grade 3 after lv 64 and grade

4 after lv 76.

So at level 76 you're able to do all the 4 quests. The quests want you to collect 4-5-6

items (depends on the grade) that drops from the mobs summoned with Monster scrolls. A

little tip. If a lv 76 use a scroll the mobs that will spawn will drop items only for grade

4 quest. To do the lower grade the person who uses the scroll must be in that range.

Example: You want to do grade 1, then the guy who has to use the scroll must be under lv

52, for grade 2 he must be between lv 52 and 63 and so on.

Now the most interesting part: the rewards. Once your quest is done go back to Accessory

shop and get ready for a big reward. Want an example? here we go:



Grade 1 quest reward: Experience: 4.256.117 ; Gold: 4.651.897; Skill points: 10000.



Grade 4 quest reward: Experience: 60.278.397; Gold:27.651.897; Skill points: 60000.

Each quest can be done twice per day so do your calculations and tell me if they worth or

no!

TEMPLE AND SKILL EXTENSION

What is this temple? How can I get in? What is skill extension?

What temple is: With temple I meant the Job temple in which you can farm Job coins, last

tier

items and have some funny fights against opponent job users: Take care the mobs inside are

very strong and you need a good set and a good party play to survive. You can find also

some uniques inside that you can kill. Reward? Why shall I tell you everything here, go and

discover!

How to get in: To go into the temple you need obviously to be suited up with your job suit

and also a special key that can be bought from Potion shop from Hotan. Remember every time

you enter you need a key so better buy a good amount. The entrance of the temple are

different for H/T and thieves. H/T entrance is the dark cave, the bottom one. Thief

entrance is the dark cave, upper one.

If you don't want to do all the way back everytime just sell 1 one the key to any of the

NPCs and the spawn point will be changed to the entrance of the temple. There you will find

a npc with two options: teleport into temple & teleport to Hotan.

What skill extension is: This is a really good feature that allow everyone to create his

own unique char that will be different from all others. Once you reach lv 85 and you're

full farmed you are able to keep lvling up some of your skills. Here's the ability and the

opportunity to create your own personal char. The problem is that every skills you want to

extend need 7m of skill points. The only wait to get them is to do a quest that can be

obtained from Speciality trader in Hotan:


The quest ask you to kill/collect items from different mobs that can be found in Job

temple. The quest can be done only 25 times, that's why everyone will have different char

depending on which skills he decide to level up.

TRADE

The best way of doing gold is be active in job. You can get different trans pet from the

Ancient uniques. They drops elephants, buffalos and other transports.

ALCHEMY

Alchemy rates are hard enough that if you do a +7 you can feel satisfied.

Elixirs are dropped from mobs but with low rate. They're also sold by Accessory Shop for

gold + Job coins, same for stones.

Ancient items are 11th degree and you can find all the stones at Donwhang accessory shop

and lucky powder from Hotan Accessory shop.

There're no immortal/astral stones in item mall, the only way to get them is at Forgotten

world from the uniques inside.

END GAME GEAR

The best weapon is SOM 8D that can be bought from Weapon NPC at Hotan for Job coin + gold

(enough to obly you to be active at job).

The best set is normal set dropped from mobs.The best accessory set can be bought from

Arena Shop with Gold coins that can be obtained from Temple mobs and doing Battle Arena.

NEW INSTANCES

 Spoiler

-Mayan Temple levels 37-44:

The setting is very suggestive. You will be teleported into the camp of "Battle Arena -

Score" and there you will find a lot of Manyangs: generals, champion, giants and strong

mobs. You have to kill all the mobs in the area before new monsters will spawn. Every time

you kill all the mobs a message will apear saying you that the new wave of mobs as started.
The experience you get inside is quite good but it will take a lot of time to do it alone

indeed I suggest to go there to the people that love the party playing system. You will

find it very funny and interesting becouse it's one of the hundred ways you have to lvl up.


-Downhang Temple ( Hellfire Prison) levels 45-52:

This time you will find yourself in a mysterious place. A big red area with skeletons and

bones all around. Here's the first surprise: a new funny feature.



In addition to the normal mobs that you have to defeat there's also a "Experience Pillare"

that, once you kill it, will give you a lot of experience.



Hey, have you tought that it rapresent the only interesting part in this dungeon? You may

be wrong my dear. Here comes the best part. Once you kill all the mobs from Stage 1 and 2 a

mysterious Treasure Box will appear. Kill it and you will find zerk potions, EU/CH items

some elixirs and a item (Can be more than 1) called "Alchemy ticket" that can be exchanged

to So-ok for a set number of elixirs depending on the tipe of the alchemy ticket (S:

common= 10; M: uncommon= 20; L: Rare= 30) of random type of elixirs.


Here in Downhang temple you're able to drop only common type.

After killing the box, new mobs will appear and stage 3 begins. Go ahead, you're only at

the beginning! After stage 4 an Ancient unique will appear and it his very very strong but

killing it will worth the time you spend. You can go untill stage 8.Between stage 6 & 7

another Trasure Box will appear and after stage 8 the Boss will pop up.

- Thief Den levels 53-60:

Take care, the mobs inside are very strong cause of their debuffes and abnormal states so

remember to buy some universal pills if you want to survive. This instance works exactly

like the previous one but you can drop Uncommon alchemy ticket.



Downhang Cave levels 61-68:

This instance is setted into the Holy water temple. First wave of mobs is located into the

first room (Sphinx). After you've killed all the mobs the Treasue Box will appear into the

middle room (The one where the 4 parts of the temple conjoin). Once you have killed it the

mobs will spawn in the left side of the temple (don't worry you dn't have to remember this

information everytime becouse a message will pop up explaining you what you have to do) and

then the first Unique will spawn. Here you are able to drop Uncommon alchemy ticket.



- Taklamakan Dimension levels 69-76:

The location is the Fertility Temple from Taklamakan and here you're able for the first

time to drop Rare alchemy ticket.



- Snake Cavern levels 77-85:

All the teleports to get into the instances are well marked on the map except this that's

why I'm going to tell you it here. The teleport is located in last camp (16) of the second

floor (B) of Jangan Cave. You have to walk trough the whole floor and reach the last camp

where usually there is the port to go to the 3rd floor. There you will find a Dimension

pillar that allowe you to enter the into the dungeon.

Here a good party is needed becouse the uniques inside are very very strong (The first

ancient hittem me over 20k with Snow). So call your friends (if you don't have any it's

time for you to make some) and get inside to feel the shivers of the adrenaline for this

new exaiting experience!

REBIRTH SYSTEM

I heard that there will be also this system. Unfortunately it was not enabled during Beta

so I couldn't test it but I'll update this part (as I did with instances) as soon as I'll

be able to check out this feature.

Any of the mods should IP bann you. I saw you in many other threads and the only things you're able to do is posting ****** comments without having any ideas about the server.

If you only read well the features of this server and all the things I already told you in the other thread you would be able to understand how stupid your comment is.
I always wonder about one thing: If Darwin had been alive now, would he have been so sure about his theory about "natural selection"? I guess no cause of not evolved humans like you.

Download takes way too long, for guys with low internet or that will download 1-2h before server opens, they wont have enough time, i've 50mb and its on 100-200kb/s (fastest is bayfiles for those interested).

I think that the list of changes is in a way too long to be done but I can assure you that there are no OP builds and everyone has the chance to win a pvp. Of course there will always be some builds that are stronger against some others and weaker against other but you won't see only warr/cleric and rouge/warlock going around.

I think that CH chars are a bit stronger in PVP but for PVE and other features that require party play like Job, instances, FW EU are very usefull. So just pick up your favourite build and I'm 90% sure you won't be disappointed! =)
