Jump n Run, there is no genre which can't be played offline. Back in the days there was no internet. All genres could be played offline. The only new genre "invented" by the internet was the mmo.
If you don't know what kind of genres exist use Wikipedia: Video game genres - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

What? Why do you need to know a genre for that?

You decide if a game is good or not only by looking at its genre? Seriously?
Just buy a game, play it and if it is not good you had bad luck. There is no game which is so much better than the others.

What about Terraria, i mean the cracked Version. For the original, legal Version you need to have Steam. And Steam needs an active Internet connection ;D
