Yep you pasted it correctly .There is no mysql.lib ... You need to right click in your project click properties ->configuration properties->linker->Additional Library Directories and add your folder where is libmysql.lib . Linker->Input->Additional Dependencies . Here write libmysql.lib and click ok .Myśle , że zrozumiesz .

OK, find the fix. I've got to change build target to x64, add ws2_32.lib to additional depedencies and link libmysql.lib trough VS command line like there
