Client crashes at character select

since no one wants to be helpful on my other thread and i see no rules against this, can anyone give me any REAL advice or pointers on how to fix this.

Rename dgbhelp.dll to dgbhelp.dlx, rename dgbhelp.orig to dgbhelp.dll. This will fix it.

well now im getting a hackshield memory modification error o-e any idea why?

its because you are hacking without a working bypass

then how come if i have the dbghelp in from mng it works fine but when i take it out im detected? o-0

forget what that first guy said, it seems real dumb and all, but try this atleast.
when this happens to me i try to login and it gives me client.exe.

before you login, select one of your pets or alts and wait for like 10 seconds,
then go back to the chara you wanna login to and try it.
if it dont work something else i do is select a different channel than the channel i was last in.

not sure how this does anything but it always works x.x

i dont even see the chacters it frezes before they load

Delete/rename dinput8.dll as well.

well if this advice is the same as ur bypass i might be fking up stuff instead of fixing

if u dont see ur chara at chara selection screen and it freeze, then u might have MNG's cp read, turn that off and it will be fine

Disable all of MNG and ***'s functions or do what I mentioned above. That works as well.

NameColoring and CP
