These are some of the Questions I get to hear a lot from Newbies.
Just to make sure everything is clear, I'll answer some of these in this Thread.
Basic:
Q.: I made a Human. Where can I get my free Elf/Giant?
A.: Elf: Go to Filia which is in Iria, then talk to Castania and use the Keyword you get from her.
Giant: Go to Vales which is also in Iria, then talk to Krug and use the Keyword you get from him.
Q.: Someone told me I have to pay after Lvl 30...Is that true?
A.: No, it's not true. After Lvl 30 you lose your free Bombs and Nao-Service, but you will NEVER have to pay to play Mabinogi. You can get the Bombs and the Nao-Service back by purchasing it in Nexon's PremiumShop.
Q.: Where do I get Windmill?
A.: Talk to Ranald at the Tir Chonaill School about skills (AFTER learning the Defense-Skill.).
Q.: What are AP's?
A.: AP is the Shortcut for AbilityPoints. They are like SkillPoints. You use them to rank up your Skills. In other words: The more AP's, the better!
Q.: I want to rebirth, but I don't want to spend money...What now?
A.: Wait until your Character gets Age 20. When you are age 20, you can rebirth for free!
Q.: I finished a Quest, but didn't get the Reward!
A.: Press "Q", then look for the Quest you finished and click "Complete".
Q.: How can I enter Dungeons?
A.: Drop either special Passes or just random Items on the Altar, and you will be teleported into a generated Dungeon.
Q.: I saw people having a Robe without the Hood. How do I take it off?
A.: Press "E".
Q.: How can I become Paladin/Dark Knight?
A.: Complete/Skip G1, then finish G2 to become a Paladin. After finishing G2, do G3 and choose between staying Paladin or becoming Dark Knight.
Q.: My Elf/Giant won't get G1! Help!
A.: Elves and Giants don't do G1, G2, and G3. They do the Savage Beast/Falcon Quests. You will get the Quests after a few Lvls.
Q.: I got killed and dropped something...Where can I get it back?
A.: Go to the Town Office of the Town you are currently in. You can get your dropped Items back for a small fee.
Q.: Why is your name so long?
A.: It's because I have a title. You can get titles for doing certain things. You can find a list of most titles

Q.: Sometimes the monsters I kill drop Scrolls. What are these for?
A.: These are Fomor Scrolls. You can exchange 10 of them for money and exp using Quest Scrolls. You can buy Quest Scrolls at the Village Leader/Town Office/Church.
