Age of Wulin - Package Tool

Hello community,
this is my little package tool for Age of Wulin.
You can export and import resources and it's open source ( Macro Assembler )!

Here is a screenshot:


How to use:
Be sure that you've created a backup of the package files.

• Open the tool ( in the bin folder )
• Go to Files -> Load and select a package
• Select a package you want and go to Tools -> Export
• Edit the file
• Go to Tools -> Import

files are located in the folder from the .exe ( aow_res\ )

Known Bugs ( Please send me a PM if you find more bugs ):
-> Large files can cause a crash on export/import
-> Large lua files can make the luadec/luac.exe crash but i don't know why because it's not my tool.

( I won't answer questions like "what's the password" or "how does the sourcecode work" ( if you can't understand the source then it's nothing important for you ) )

The models from Weapons have .xmod data format, have you any informations that i can transfer to .obj or fbx to see it in 3DSMAX ?

Have you this extractors too ?

There's a plugin called Noesis from Hime Works which can load .xmod files, but don't ask me how to do that, i haven't took a closer look on it.

I don't have these games on my PC but i can try to take a look on them soon.

Hello .
I've downloaded noesis , downloaded the " fmt_AgeOfWulin_xmod.py " and the "fmt_AgeOfWulin_gm2.py " files , then put them into the Noesis \Plugins\Python folder . Running noesis gives me the error :

from Sanae3D.Sanae import SanaeObject
ImportError: No Module named Sanae

I've searched for "Sanae" and found this thread :



which also includes Sanae.py . i also put this file into python folder , but it still gives me the same error , Can you please tell me what i'm doing wrong or what else needs to be done ? thanks.

UPDATE : with help from the Xentax forums , now i know that i should put the sanae.py inside the \plugins\python\Sanae3D folder in order for it to work , but now it gives me another errors as shown in this pic :

Probably because you haven't verified your email after you registered. And you also need to log out, and log back in after the verification.

hey guys, great work! I got the " fmt_AgeOfWulin_xmod.py " and the "fmt_AgeOfWulin_gm2.py " working without error (well i think i did, i just left the full "Sanae3D" inside the "\noesisv40976\plugins\python" folder and it now opens without error) but I still cant open .xmod's in noisis... any thoughts?

sure format was change and script outdated.

maybe the question may seem strange, but the program changes the file only in the client's own or change file is global? that is, the other players will also see it?
