Tales of Fantasy (ToF) {Closed Beta coming soon!}
company 'I Got Games' or IGG. It's a Fantasy MMORPG (F2P with Item Mall).
The game's main page is
The Main Features of the game are:
– Mounted Combat
– Unique weapon refining options
– and many, many more
The game has two basic Factions, called Ashland and Bohren. In the character creation you can
choose between the options 'Cool' and 'Cute'. Cool looks like in most other MMO's and Cute is
some sort of tiny chinese.
For Classes you have several options, but all players start as Trainee and then Class Advance
to either STR/INT like directions... See the following diagram:
The game's progress system focuses on questing, and there is a loooooot of quests. Quests are
separated into Story and Progression quests, and you have daily quests also. The quests are also
further separated in color, from White to Purple (least to most experience).
There are two kinds of Skill trees ingame, the classic Class skills, and Crafting skills. You can
gather material yourself.
You can use crafting to make Weapons, accessories, armor, backpacks (more inventory space) and
potions/food that keeps you alive. Another unique mechanism in the game is Fusion:
You can fuse yourself with your equipment every 10 levels or so, adding your equipment's stats to
your character stats.
Mounts are a big part of the game, you mainly get them through questing and there is a wide
variety of them available.
More info about mounts: (from the official ToF Site):
Instanced Dungeons are available in the game. Here are the rules (from the official ToF site):
PVP:
There is the faction based combat, in which you can pk players of the other faction in neutral
regions. (You get honor points for pk'ing, which you can use to redeem items). Every evening
there's a huge faction war between 8 and 10pm at the 'Dragon's Path'. Both Factions send in 3
Generals and 10 Soldiers (both NPC) that give you lots of Honor Points for killing which is one of
the main reasons why many players show up.
Then there's a duel mode, in which you can challenge other players to face you.
And finally there's an arena for group-style PVP.
If you're a fan of events, you'll surely be happy with ToF:
Every day there are two or three quizzes which give you exp as a reward, there is a horse race
implemented in the game (yes, implemented, not player organized) and there's the Hot Spring
which I find particularly funny . You have to jump into boiling water which continues to damage
you and you cannot use food/potions (meaning you need a healer with you or a healing amulett (can
be obtained by quests, heals you automatically when you have low HP) and you gain exp
continuously, based on your character's level.
