Not at all sure where on the forum to put this so I'll throw it in here in case anybody finds it useful. Mods please move to appropriate section if you like.
While playing Elite Dangerous today my mouse wheel, which I use for throttle, began to intermittently misbehave. It did this during combat and resulted in my losing a Cobra III, no biggie. It seemed just like some dust was in the optical sensor so I took it apart and blasted it with air and the problem persisted. Thus began loads of troubleshooting the upshot of which was, that if I disabled something called "Windows Game Bar" the problem went away.
This never happened before so I can only assume it is down to an invisible Windows 10 update or somesuch.
I found that Windows Game Bar began Interfering with Mouse Wheel. disabling fixed.
Edit in case it matters, I use a Logitech M570 Trackball mouse.
