The release of Half Life 2 was a little while ago, even though, many gamers await vainly part three. The rumour, that HL3 is said to be already in development, were denied by John Patrick Lowrie, a voice actor of the game's predecessor. Lowrie made reasons public on his blog, why the Half Life series will not be continued: An interlocutor has looked right in the direction of the gamer during conversation in HF2, this is not possible anymore due to the modern Motion Capture process, because taped animations are far too inflexible.
This this not the only problem, according to Lowrie and Valve, the company works on many different projects and Steam does not work without maintenance so there is no time for Half Life. Perhaps, instead of Half Life 3 we will get a new game, what do you think?
