online status script

hi guys
i was wondering who love to see a release of a online status script like this screenshot



this version is database related and shows more stats then the version that is released

this version will be included in my control panel ofcouse

the status itself is a bit more tricky

it shows the live online status , but as soon the server is crashed and restarted then the online status is wrong ( see demo at ) )

ofcourse in the version i got for the cp that "bug" is fixed but only if some1 look at the status before the server is back up (that is the problem with mysql :S , it doesnt write data if it crash)

anyway , my question was if i should release this or just keep it unic
as it need a few things to setup

it need a db username/password (mysql ..)
it need port 5816 open (server .. )
and that was it

let me know what you think about it or that it need to do something else to

it does not update with out refreshing the page
every page refresh is a fresh check to see if the server is still alive

if i need to make it auto update then i need to start working with cronjobs and other things that can make it automated ( like javascript ), but that need a lot more install work to and that is something i try to prevent
as it is already hard to get the script installed for some users (not pointing to any1 )

but mainly it updates with every single page refresh and show no stats if the game server is offline (game server is offline message)

the only bug that keeps existing at this current moment is when a user visit your site after maint is complete , then it dit not reset the online status
but that is kinda normal as i need to manual update the database to the correct value's after a server crash :S

anyway , at least now you can show your online staff and the mannequin players ^^
