I only know from the game metin2 when this error comming you use the false password ..

maybe you use caps lock or ?

Check your datebase config files the passwords should be there .
also do as fear said because not all datebases use the same login and pass

depends what version you took and from where are those the passwords that are used

yes , you saw it good , last username does not contain a password

if those things fails , please download my easy website package and login as root/test or just root (not sure anymore what pass it was)

if you open mysql my admin yknow the little green light in the corner and look in var data it will tell you its password..... but you should look in your users because if you dont have the privileges to access the db even if you have a password it wont connect

this happend to me once upon a time and i just basically made my connection name for navicat localhost which is the default name and i proceeded to put in the password, it was a simple answer, but it worked for me

it is for user "root"
that try to make a connection to "localhost" (also called 127.0.01 )
and it use a password (using password : yes)

so to fix it
check the 3 variables

is the user "root" allowed to conect to localhost with the provided password ??
is localhost the right place to connect (from a webserver to vps != localhost )
is the passwor right ?? ( Test != test )

so to fix it , check above variables and change as needed
if "localhost" failt , try to use "127.0.0.1" (is localhost to)
or if "127.0.0.1" then use "localhost" as it sometimes does not work on ip

for the rest , you definaly used a wrong value

no other thing can fix that error , so a long explanation of a easy error
