Sir Gintoki. i tried to mod the items and switched the standard for cash items. but the game says, it has corrupted files and etc.. all i did was just to rename the files, is that an error from the switching of files. or the game really detected it?

if u renamed the .y or .x items then yes.
if u renamed the tga/dds u need to backup the original one.

no i havent edited any accesorry yet.. all i did was rename the .x file of rena cash items to yaksha cash items.. it actually worked out. but the moment i enter the game. it says its corrupted

They put it inside data036. So, yeah, you can't anymore.

u could try to copy the general.ess out of the data036 and move it to elsword/data and edit an string for the mod test if it works.
