Status.csv
I'm trying to fix all my skill icons and effects in my game and now I'm at a problem that requires the dekaron.exe to be modified. It only supports 255bytes I assume. Now in order to add more skill icons from buffer_01.dds I need to be able to take IconIndex # (in status.csv) higher than 255. I know that it can be done with ollydbg but I only know how to do certain things with that. Does anyone know how to do this? I would be grateful. Thanks!

you cant do that, except if you ready to rewrite dekaron_server.exe byte by byte. good luck

Only one i know of is Elite and Eternia and they editet their .exe
|

Yeah That's what I was thinking. I think I will just step away from this and start learning more skills. I love messing with this stuff just not as far wisdom wise as I would like to be. Thanks for the replies.

If u'd be a bit smarter, when u unpack their client go check status.csv theres icons over 255, if their exe wouldn't be able to read it the numbers wouldn't be there.

if you was smart you shud know our dekaron.exe is not reading everything from our share folder... if you was smart you shud know you can delete 10% from the share folder. if you was smart you shud know you can edit things like itemset and it wont do anything to the game... dont come here to learn my anything about .exe editing or .csv editing,, and what dekaronserver read and what our dekaron.exe read.....

So how come when i change my iconindex about 250 it shuts down the dekaronserver.exe, a bit weird huh?

uh, you cant edit it on the serverside, you can edit it on the client side
its like share/map/00_braik.../MON_....csv ,, you can delete everything in there, but it wont do anything on your game,, your game will work normal

Exactly, but still u have to patch the status.csv to make it work, and also, everytime they bring a new patch out you wanna tell me they add some random icons? I doubt that.

you can just redo it all , and have all the effects , but make sure you repeat some icons, like lets say stunned make an icont for all stunned or bleeding etc , there are alot of the same in there

Won't they cancel out eachother then due to the same icon? Lets say u use Catch blow up & Slow Arrow, both stun both same icon they'll cancel out eachother right?

Here's a good question how is skill effect tied into the status.csv? I know that the Iconindex # points to what icon pops up but when you change that # not only does it change the icon but it changes what happens when you use that skill. So how is that number linked to the effect? How would I go about erasing what isattached to a number? lol how's that for some questions.
