Question about hangars and extra ships

Hello. I stopped playing when pilot points was introduced. Didn't really like how DO was pushing people to buy uri. The pilot points strategy was obviously a buy uri with real money scheme. Anyway, I start playing again and then suddenly there are hangars for extra ships.

My question: If I get a 2nd ship to fill 2nd hangar, what equipment does new ship use? Do i have to get drones, laser, shields, engines and extras again for the new ship, or does second ship use existing equipment of 1st ship?

but why did you bought 2nd hangar when you said you stopped because of uri updates?

Because I want multi ship in same account, same server. For that, I am willing to use uri for extra hangar. Also, I stop complaining. I enjoy game more if I dont complain XD. Besides, have plenty of bots to get uri. lol wont pay DO. no way.
