Drop Rates source 5017

Hello all, I am new to C # programming came here in this forum conquer saw 30 of the topics and enjoyed it. So, I really want to learn about the same "Source Redux 5017". How do I add to Drop CpsBag every 10 defeated monsters and 5Cps every 1 monster defeated?

Drop rules in it work same as in 5065. Depending on what version of the source you have, you MAY have a /adddroprule command or you may need to edit the database manually.

Drop rules are assigned by MonsterID, RuleType, RuleChance, RuleAmount and RuleValue

RuleType defines what happens when the rule is triggered (item on ground, item on inventory, money in inventory, cp in inventory, etc)
Rule Chance is how likely the rule is to happen whenever a monster of that ID is killed
Rule Amount determines if the rule should loop (EG: 50% with Amount of 5 means it will loop until either the if(%50) fails OR max amount has been reached. Not used often but can be useful sometimes)
RuleValue is what is awarded. If awarding an item it's the static ID of the reward, if it's a currency then it will be how much is earned.

5017 uses a non encrypted server.dat

you should be able to edit it directly

Except it blocks the host computer's IP/127.0.0.x by default.

As a solution, there's CIDLoader. It should be here somewhere.

There's never a reason to have to use 127.0.0.1 though


Dunno why anyone would use CIDLoader. Coloader has been the 'standard' for like... 4+ years now and works on every patch of conquer

No loader is needed...

Just enter your network ip, hamachi ip or external ip in server.dat and it works perfectly in 5017.

Still curious where he got his hands on a 5017 redux though :O

Probably some source code reflect or how is it called, like most of the trinity out there.
