Exiting the game

I noticed when you exit the game by clicking ESC you stay in the game for about another 5 seconds. We either need to hex edit the client or come up with a quick DC button. As I don't know how to hex edit very well I report the problem :P

What you mean? As in like you get 2 clients together and then you exit one of them, and on the other client you see it dissapear after 5 seconds? Well, when i get pked i press esc and spacebar. I dont see me ending up in city. Perhaps lag. You try jumping on 1 client and quickly switch to the other client. You would see a delay in whatever your first client does.

yes its a time delay in the server anti clown co2 is just up give it time it will go just server lag

But it's gay, suppose you get red name and you wanna exit the game, you do it by ESC, for what, so that you can get pked when you're not there anymore?

Nah.I suppose unless that guy has lag compensation, it will not hit you i guess.

I already tested it
I had 2 chars on. Quit water tao and went on the other, then attacked the water and it died. Later I logged the water in war jail (I was in GW area)

Best way to make absolutely sure you disconnect immediatly is to send an invalid packet. That way the server itself inititates the disconnect and you will vanish straight away.

Could it be possible if I just made a macro in AutoIt or something, with a command
end connection with the IP <ip>

just make a program, and what you press crtl t it sends and invalid jump packet (keep it ctrl t becuase everyones used to it :P)

Hmm...Being a black-named pk in some certain server, i always use esc+space to escape pursuit. Oh yea, the delay when you use esc+space is supposed to be the time when you switch off your net connection till your client posts the "Connection Interrupted" message. The best way as they said is to send an invalid packet, *any **** will do* to d/c your self.
