Conquer is closing down

Guys you might think i am lying but everybody in the taiwan conquer recieved an email from the GM that Conquer will be closing down very soon, this is because some smart guy in taiwan created a CP hack and keeps on making super+12 armours.This CP hack is real and i am not kidding because on Christmas there were 26 players with super+12 2 socket armour which we have never seen before.I am not sure about anyother conquers but i would recommend ppl to sell all their armours for real cash

There is somthing about this I don't believe... hmm... the whole thing?
1. So what if some guys are hacking.
2. They are a big company and are not going to shut down their biggest game because of hackers. (They might shut down server VERY UNLIKELY)
3. I don't believe there is a CP generator...

Account server stores how much cps the account has,unless the hack hacks into the account server,it can't do a thing.Hacking into their server,I'm not sure about this,but i think its illegal.

i dont think it will close, if it is really close.....its absolutely not fair to the buyer to waste alot money and its closed.

i'm registered for EVERy conquer and i play every one and i didn't recieve an email

sounds kinda fishy..my bet says its nothing more than a temporary shutdown to protect "potential" revenue... or..on the other hand it might be some kinda mad promotion... give a few ppl good items so others get antsy for the same :P or buyers paying for "discounted" items.. like floormodel so to speak

Yes hacking into a server is illegal, but twiddling with the packets is not... This had a HUGE discussion when the MysticMerchant hack was out... I do believe if you do mess with the packets its NOT illegal... Not 100% positive but i think thats how it goes... And i can defintely see someone doing this, theres computer brainiacs all over the world, one of them could have stumbled upon CO and thought it would be fun to send TQ a challenge...

All TQ has to do is assign one person from there company and catch this guy, ban his IP, and if he changes it, have that assigned person ban him again... etc etc etc

Maybe its harder than is said, but in my opinion thats the best way to handle it... Because if there was a rollback, the guy would simply do it again...

Last statement, this is BS for this poster can get some fame on here... lol

There were 12 of the gangs that were hackign and 2 of them were caught. Never say that the chinese conquer is ******, it is better than the english one by a whole mile. i can take screenshots of the players but it is unlikely because if they log on they will get banned.Hok30 if there isn't a CP generator how could 26 players have +9 armours.The company is closing down because no one is paying for CP because they can hack it
