The Activations Tools works with the Aion Client.
So you need to reinstall Aion all the time.

Finally~ I became an Daeva~ I can post new thread~ Thus, I make an introduction on how to play in China OBT.
Take it easy, just a few of single steps, anyone can cover it~

1. if anyone want to play in the china OBT, you should first have an SD account, register here

2.about the client, the OBT does use a different client from those of the CBT, you could download it here

3.to play the china OBT, one only needs to have a SD account, activation code is not neccessary.
by the way, it is OK if you do not fill in your personal information.
but you'd better fill in an adult ID, if you don't fill in, your playing time would be limited,
like after 5 or 6 hours(I forgot the exact number) of playing you would gain no experience any more
and you couldn't pick up anything on the ground.

To add an adult ID to your account:
A. when you have already had your account, go to this page to log in.


B. if this is the 1st you'd ever log in your account, you would see this page, click the link marked in the picture



if you have logged in your account before, you would see this page, click the link marked in the picture



then you go to this page, click the marked link in the picture



C. Ok, finally, we arrived at the ID adding page~ now it's time to input the name and the ID
the name(the Chinese words) in the 1st line
and the ID(the number code) in the 2nd line
E.g. name: 王洪侠
ID: 210124198508162281
follow the picture



here are some names and IDs of chinese adult, just Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V

(I admitted that these ID have been up for longer than a day.
If you only want to make an account, they are OK.
different from the Korean, the Chinese company wouldn't mind if an ID links to more than one account.
If you want to play constantly in China, you'd better find an safer ID.)

D. if you see this page, that means you have succesfully added an ID and you can play the game freely



P.S. you have successfully download and installed the client. when you run it you may get an error which translates to "Can not download regional directory information." (不能下载地区目录信息). It's OK. this error only shows that SD's server isn't on yet. I myself have this error too, and so do the Chinese.

For the activation code, it first makes you add two numbers together, "34+32" and enter it into the white box, then read what I assume is a EULA or something, then its another picture with chinese symbols and a white box.

I'm not against memorizing parts of another language to be able to answer this but any hints? there seems to be multiple forms of chinese numbers, and I don't even know if its just 2 numbers like the first one, maybe its letter and a number? Altho the error page someone translated said 'sorry wrong number' made me assume it is also numbers. also any hints on entering these smybols into the box or do I just have to keep windows open with all meaningful symbols and copy/paste like a madman?

summary: any tips on what language/format this chinese symbol box is in would be helpful =D
